I have to kick myself for somehow forgetting about this very amazing place. What flavors! What presentation! Awesome service and a warm welcome! This was a whim, going out for dinner, we had no plans but decided to head out. We must have mentioned 20 different restaurants and decided to head to Tito and Pep, without a reservation. We were seated at the bar and couldn't have been happier. Our bartender made us amazing drinks, took our order and took great care of us.The place got quickly full but we were still able to carry a conversation. We ordered four small plates and were very satisfied. So much I wasn't able to order dessert. Will definitely return and enjoy their amazing flavors!

As much as my daughter and I enjoyed everything we've eaten, we truly wanted to change things up during our short trip with other food options. In comes Tito & Pep on E. Speedway Blvd in Midtown Tucson. Tito & P. showcase wonderful flavors- but that's not all. Chef and owner John Martínez has a diverse menu that includes radicchio, roasted squash, grilled broccoli, stripe bass, and other ingredients that take center stage. The restaurant's mod style creates a welcoming atmosphere from beginning to end blending plants, almost white-washed walls and polished concrete floors.Because my kid and I didn't have a res., we were seated at the bar- and since eating at the bar is (almost) the best seat in the house, it actually worked out flawlessly. Plus Tito & P's bar counter is a smooth flat-top without that huge lip on the edge making you hunch your shoulders up. You know which ones. Not here. Our bartender was smooth and patient (maybe a bit too patient). By the time we'd finished our 2 starters, we waited at least 35 minutes for our main plates. Tito & P's cocktails have incredible ingredients and the type of strength that will creep up on you. Our grilled octopus starter had a juicy sauce medley with avocado chunks and halved cherry tomatoes. Except, the octopus needed less time on the grill. Our other starter had a refreshing mix of paper-thin fennel and onions added to our grilled broccoli on a creamy sauce- which I didn't mind too much and tried eating around it. Our main dishes were totally elite level. My kid loved her grilled salmon hooked up with Brussels sprout+pistachios+salsa verde. And my Striped Bass with a chimichurri sauce was another stand out. Coming here was a terrific decision- even without a res. A shout out to the hostess for accommodating us at the bar!

The flavors in the food here are amazing! Our server was wonderfully attentive and took care of our larger group with ease. The space is small and the parking is limited so I recommend carpooling and making a reservation. Everyone loved every part of their experience from the cocktails all the way to dessert. The steak skewers were perfect flavored and paired nicely with a salad. The octopus was "the best seafood ever experienced in Arizona" per my friend. The panna cotta is the most delightfully light and enjoyable experience!

WOW wow wow Tito & Pep is the place to be. Stopped in for a late dinner on a Monday night and the place was PACKED!Immediately I knew we were going to have a great meal. They have the best ambiance with mood lighting, tasteful shrubs, and trendy interior. For drinks, I got the Floor is Guava cocktail, it honestly wasn't my favorite but I still drank the whole thing (lol). We ordered the crispy calamari to start and it was BOMB - definitely a must-try.For dinner, I wasn't superrr hungry so I kept it light with the Sea Bass Crudo. Light, fresh, flavorful and really tasty. Desert was my favorite! We ordered the Buttermilk Panna Cotta and the Dark Chocolate Ganache, an awesome way to finish a fantastic meal! All in all, HIGHLY recommend Tito & Pep for anyone wanting a nice meal with even better company. :)

Everything was absolutely phenomenal! Originally traveled to the area for a different restaurant, which ended up being on vacation. As a walk in, we got a spot at the bar. The bartender Britt was astounding. She gave us the greatest recommendations on menu and drink options, and local recommendations to other spots to tag as a tourist. Every dish ordered was out of this world. Highly recommend to any/everyone. Such great food and vibes. The panacatta desert is officially the best desert I've ever had.

I live in CA and NV and travel to Tucson to visit the annual gem faire here. Over the last three years, I have come to appreciate the vibrant restaurants emerging here. Case in point, this gem of a restaurant. American comfort food meets Latin. We had imaginative Ceviche made of yellowtail and citrus. Paired well with perfectly made Margaritas. Crunchy calamari with jalapeno. Salmon and Brussels Sprouts. A truly wonderful Orange cake with cherries. To die for. Will come back. Often. A must visit.

We had a wonderful dinner here while in town on vacation. We made reservations over a week ahead and had a choice of 5PM or 8:30PM as all else was booked on a Monday night. We went with the 5PM which was early but worked for us. If you want more of a prime dinner time, I'd suggest making a reservation a few weeks ahead to be safe. We started with cocktails and I had the Conquistador's Mule which was refreshing and went nicely with dinner. We shared the roasted squash salad and grilled octopus for a first course. The squash salad was delicious and all the flavors made this an amazing dish. I never would have thought tomatillos and squash would go together so well! The octopus was delicious and tender. The chili oil was perfect with the octopus and avocado. For my entree I had the striped bass which was cooked perfectly with a crispy skin and the accompaniments, including parsnip and oyster mushrooms made this an amazing dish. For dessert, we shared the olive oil rosemary cake which was amazing. The flavors all went together so well and we really enjoyed it. Service was excellent and the atmosphere is cozy and comfortable. We really liked the vintage light fixtures. Parking is easy in the adjacent lot. Definitely recommend Tito & Pep to anyone visiting the area! We will be back for sure next time we're in town.

Stopped in for dinner. Loved that it's right off the road. The menu is limited but full of flavor. I ordered the steak skewers which came with a delicious Chipotle tomatillo salsa and cotija cheese and the queso to start. The steak was tender, juicy and the sauce complimented it well. The queso was explosive. The combo of mushrooms. Cheese and chorizo with homemade tortillas just melt in your mouth and drift you off to another dimension. Something about a cast iron skillet. My waiter Alex was patient and full of information. He offered great recommendations. So friendly with great customer service. For dinner I ordered the salmon accompanied by charred corn and roasted poblano. Also tried the jerk pork chop with the corn pudding. 2 words "try it". The flavor and the cook were perfection. My drink was the jamaica dove. For those who enjoy tequila and Hibiscus flavors this is for you. Subtle yet refreshing. The Catalina sunset is sweet and whimsical. I couldn't decide so I ordered 2 of the 3 featured desserts. Ganache and rosemary cake. The dark chocolate was sinfully sweet and rich accompanied by a light and fluffy whipped cream and nuts. It reminded me of Ferrero rocher candy. The cake reminded me of zucchini bread I can only imagine it would pair well with coffee. Overall enjoyed my time here.
