Thunderbird RV & Mobile Home Park

A challenge to find, Thunderbird is behind a radio station in Sierra Vista. RV park is well maintained with a decent amount of shady spots. Nice rec room area with a satellite TV setup, restrooms, pool table, 4 washers & dryers with a microwave oven. Stuff NOT SO GOOD: NO Showers on site!! Very weird short hours posted (8AM to 7:30PM) that the rec room is open. The unlocked door still needs a password to enter. When locked, a double deadbolt keeps people out...Why not open up much earlier for the guests' convenience? So I asked the management and they said they would tell the maintenance crew to open up at 6AM as we were staying for the week. This never happened and the room was opened at 8AM. I then told the manager about the statement she made the day before. Her answer was, Oh he opens it when he wants. That stinks!! Sorry we cannot stay at Thunderbird next time. Their rules and lame management are not customer oriented.

Super nice managers Chris and Sharon . Always available no matter what day or hour it is, and always make you feel warm and friendly .Clean facilities ,have nice laundry facilities, clubhouse , and affordable . Feel safe, quiet , security , never have to worry about your stuff getting stolen, great location close to everything . Thank you Chris and Sharon for being wonderful and great job in running this place .

I had a most delightful experience staying at this park for five nights. It is off the beaten path only one block but very quiet but accessible to all of the city. The park has all the amenities and very reasonably priced with the nicest managers humanly possible

RV Park spaces are narrow so large RVs with slide outs are almost impossible to park without hitting tree limbs. Only 30 Amps and no cable available. Just $35.00 with a TV room and laundry. It is an okay park if you are just driving through. Pleasant and friendly staff.

Lived here for 5 years. Recently got new managers who got rid of our security and handyman. I used to feel safe, knowing we had security that constantly walked the park. We could call him anytime if we were concerned about anything. I don't feel secure anymore. I am an elderly woman, alone and unable to get out or around very easily. Only notification of new mgmt was a note that my daughter found on the ground. It did't mention getting rid of security or handyman. I found out about security when I called him to warn him of something. He told me that he and the handyman, who was very helpful, had been discontinued. I would have rated the park 5 stars before, but not anymore and am very unhappy with the decision to get rid of security and handyman.

Impeccably clean, well maintained, great customer service. Stayed in Sierra Vista for weekend to tour Bisbee and Tombstone. RV Park worked for our needs, would be good to have 24 hr access to restrooms. Overall a very good experience.

This RV park is a real find. Chris and Sharon did everything they could to make our stay as pleasant as possible. It is conveniently located right in town but was amazingly quiet; we loved listening to the nesting great horned owls hooting at night. The WiFi is excellent. Sierra Vista has a ton of things to see and do and explore, and Thunderbird is an excellent base.

Looking for a place to stay a couple of night's. Google led us to Thunderbird. Liked it so much we stayed a month. Great management, clean, quiet, inexpensive, close to everything. Lot,s of room (we have a 40ft motorhome), free wi-fi.
