I have been a resident here for about 2.5 years and have only ever had minor issues, until recently that is. I had ordered a very expensive package that was delivered to the front office and signed for but when I went to pick it up I was told they never got it. I called fed ex to see if perhaps it had accidentally fallen into the truck and was told that no it was delivered and signed for, I was even emailed proof of delivery and the signature of the employee in the front office that had signed for it. After calling fed ex, checking with my neighbors and talking to the woman who signed for it I still had no answers as to where my package was. This is the 4th day after delivery and I still have not received it. Today I went in to speak with the manager of the apartment complex to see what could be done about my lost package (given that it was her employee that had signed for and lost it) and was told I was out of luck and it wasnt the offices responsibility for the lost package. The manager was extremely rude, kept cutting me off, and saying she was sorry but they weren't at fault. I'm not understanding how they weren't at fault given that it was in their custody when it went missing. I did not receive an apology and no effort was made to make this right. Most of the office workers are unprofessional and rude. Had there been some effort in resolving this issue I would not be writing this review, however the manager acted like she could care less about the issue at hand and acted like I was wasting her time. I will NOT be renewing my lease and I will NOT be referring my friends or family to live in this apartment complex. Never have I lived somewhere where they dont care about the residents and where the office people are so rude and negligent

When I lived at the Woods, I helped a "gentleman" moving in above me, unload his truck and carry his stuff to his apartment. The next day, I asked him if he could turn his music down. By the time I had returned to my apartment, he and his six friends started banging on my ceiling with pots and pans. When I ventured back, upstairs to inquire about this, they wouldn't open the door, but started to taunt me verbally, like, "come in here and we'll make you a real man." I'm a teacher, and I found this odd behavior. I called the office the next day and spoke with the manager. She told me, "You'll have to call and speak with his parole officer." Then, she never gave me his parole officers number. For the next ten days, the individuals above me played their music loud and banged pot and pans on my ceiling at will. I called the office each day, and no one returned my plea for help. So, I went to the Tucson Police and filed a complaint. They told me that they'd speak with the management. And finally the pot banging stopped, but their threats and taunts continued until the day I left the Woods. Then, four gang members who resided at the Woods, threatened me, and took baseball bats to my vehicle, which was parked in the Woods parking lot. The management did nothing, they didn't even ask if I was okay! Their first comment was "If your car was damaged in our parking lot we're not responsible IT'S IN YOUR LEASE! So, again I had to file a police report. And, one day after filing the police report, when I arrived home from school, three Tucson Police cars descended, like lightening upon the Woods parking lot. And the officers, in bullet proof vests, with guns drawn, rushed up to one of the gang members apartment, who lived three doors from me, and who had threatened me and damaged my vehicle, and served an arrest warrant. My experience at the Woods was beneath terrible. The lack of humanity and help from the management really surprised me. I left, and have found happiness in the Foothills. If you are low on finances, keep looking. Or else, my experience could repeat, but this time with you and your loved ones getting battered. Good Luck!
