The Quesadillas

Loved this place so so so much.I got a chorizo and a jaas taco. Both were excellent but also THE SALSAS. Will be dreaming of those -- they seriously need to be bottled and sold to locals. I'm not local, but trying to figure out how I get them across the country or recreate in New York. My mom got the shrimp taco, per the recommendation of a fellow diner. He did not steer her wrong! The owner was very personable and service was speedy. We have a bit more time here in Tucson so we probably will be back...

First stop on a taco tour day and was a great start and the star of our self-guided tour. I can't wait to come back. We got a quesabirria and a veggie taco and both were delicious. I drank the remaining consommé because it was so good. Both tacos were outstanding. The quesadillas my companions got looked really good too, but I'm glad I just did tacos - I'll come for quesadillas when I want dinner - it would have been too much to start out that way before touring other spots. Order at the counter and they bring the food out. Salsa bar. There was a long line when we arrived, but they moved through pretty quickly and there were plenty of tables available when we were ready to sit down.

Great tasting tacos and reasonable prices. Awesome salsa bar with lots of salsa choices. Love all the artwork on the walls. It was packed on a late Sunday morning with a line out the door. It definitely was worth the wait.

I had never been here before but a friend took me for lunch today and it was delicious! I got the Carne asada quesadilla (obvi) and it was so good! I covered it in the creamy green salsa. Also had a shrimp taco and while good on its own .. the pineapple salsa (center yellow in the pic) really adds something to the taco! We had Fast friendly service , the interior is cute and clean. Parking is a little tricky and narrow but they do have dedicated spots. I will definitely be back to try a different quesadilla ;)

Arrived during the lunch rush, standing in line with local construction workers, physical therapists and the local retired ladies club. Tried the Sonoran Dog and it got the job done; just the basic dog, bacon, salsa, mustard and crema. Washed it down with a Mexican coke and headed out. Service was sufficient, nothing more nor less. A hole-in-the-wall vibe, filled with Tucson locals.

First time here! Been wanting to go for a few years and I'm happy I stopped in. Parking lot is small and a little tricky to navigate.The inside has dark wood chairs and tables with dim lighting. It has a very relaxed atmosphere.Came in and was greeted kindly. The cashier was very patient and helpful. He had great recommendations. I went with the lunch combo: cheese quesadilla which I added grilled onions and jalapeño. 1 carne asada and 1 Al pastor. Both were fantastic!!! Like wow. They have an extensive salsa bar.The jalapeño salsa, and cilantro cream sauce were standouts. The tortillas are perfect and I loved that you just get one so it doesn't waste food; the tacos are also filled perfectly. The quesadilla was amazing!!!!!!!! I love love loved it. It has high quality cheese and fresh ingredients. I would definitely come back 10/10 recommend

The food is so good here! The Sonoran Dog was something new I tried and it is amazing! The quesadillas, beans, and even homemade cookies were also so good.

Quick Mexican dishes i.e. tacos and quesadillas done to near perfection, highly recommended!

I recently visited The Quesadillas for dinner and had a nice experience. I tried the Carne Asada Quesadilla and the Pollo Asado Quesadilla. The tortillas were soft and filled with gooey cheese and smokey tender carne asada and chicken. The side sauces were also flavorful. The food was delicious but not very filling (that's why I had to order two) and a bit steep in price at $8.50 per quesadilla.

I personally really liked it. The tortillas were good. Jamacia tea was great. Salsa was great. The bean taco was great. Beans and chips and salsa are what I rate a Mexican restaurant and both were delicious. Inside was small but at least 12 or so tables. We sat on the side. The parking isn't that big either. Would return. Yum!
