Probably a 4.5-4.7 for the course with some excellent service. Came in from out of town and was going to miss initial tee time - very willing to work with me to get out. Area had received some rain, so fairways and greens were quite lush, but rough was dormant (it's Feb). Greens rolled fair, quick, good amount of break. Really tight for AZ golf, but fun. A lot of undulation - high tees to low fairways and greens - and vice versa. Plenty of opportunity to get yourself in trouble if you're not accurate. Not super developed (yet). Course design seemed to minimize actually seeing a lot of the properties. Price - reasonable. Would recommend. Felt like you were right there in the mountains, some great views. I would certainly go back!

I would rate it a 3.5 if I could. Positives include rolling fairways, undulating greens - which were interesting- and some great views. Negatives include some greens that were in poor shape and the $69 Green fee is a little pricey.

The customer service we received yesterday in the pro shop was STELLAR! We unknowingly messed up our booking on GolfNow and they could've very easily turned us away...it was our fault. Instead, they immediately said don't worry about it and they'd take care of it! We were quite surprised and pleased, to say the least!!Throughout our round on this beautiful course hubby and I kept saying how impressive that was, even saying they might've just sold us a house (in the future, we're not ready to retire just yet)!!Customer service goes a long way, folks, and you never know in what way it'll come back to you!

Probably the best views of the Santa Catalina Mountains in Tucson. I can't wait to play this course.Even if you don't golf, the clubhouse also offers an amazing view from their restaurant's patio. Very friendly atmosphere and home of the most amazing dessert, a warm berry tart, served with vanilla ice cream and fresh berries.

Very nice layout for the Preserve course. Much more interesting than the Mountain View course. It's a reasonable rate for high season at just under $100. The range balls aren't that great and not included in the green fee. The course was in good shape except for the greens. They are kind of patchy and mostly slow. Mountain View's greens are in similar shape. I think the lack of rain is preventing the grass in the greens to completely fill in. But will definitely play it again.

As a regular member this course the overall condition is laughable at times. I can't believe people pay $69 or more ever come back after playing it once. It's the little things that drive you crazy. Poorly maintained bunkers, if it rained don't come because the bunkers will have standing water in them for the next month. Rarely groomed. Unplayable areas in the fairway rarely marked as ground under repair, aprons around greens poorly maintained. Save your money and play a course in Tucson where maintenance is the primary concern not deceiving the public by TV ads that are not accurate.

What a day. Weather in upper 70's. Blue sky. And golf with a setting that was incredible. Views of the mountains are amazing. Course is really very interesting. It is set along benches and in the foothills of the mountains.Challenging but enjoyed the variety of the different holes.Lunch was good and dining room is upscale with wonderful views and several patios.

Very cool views, decent course...hey staff I have an idea- have a personality. I'm not saying they were mean or anything like that, but get the I'm better than you stick out of your ars. My playing partner had a 10% off coupon and old man asked if he told them when he called in reservation he replied "no" oh then man said he could not use it!?? Wth is the difference? If he said something maybe that tee time wouldn't be available??idk. I play probably 60-70 rounds a year, and they did there best to make us feel uncomfortable. We asked about driving range, which they pointed out where it was...but never asked if we needed balls, so we figured balls were there/ they were not. Thanks guys. Might go back, but will be prepared for it...heck maybe I'll be a snob. Why are the bathrooms locked on the course?

I have played this course for the past 8 years; Nice course, very good conditions. However the rates have gone through the roof this year. I was paying anywhere from $45.00 to $55.00 a round in Oct, Nov. and Dec. I now see that they are $79.00 per round. To expensive for my groups to play. The sad part is they are not booking these times.Disappointed
