I recently took a long drive from Albuquerque to Tucson and decided to make a stop at The Parish, a hidden gem that beautifully celebrates the flavors of Louisiana right in the heart of Tucson. With its unique blend of Southern-inspired dishes and a commitment to local ingredients, The Parish has become a beloved staple in the community since its opening. The ambience had an old-school New Orleans feel, with charming decor and a welcoming vibe that instantly transported me to the vibrant streets of the Big Easy.As soon as I walked in, I was promptly greeted and informed of a short 20-minute wait. It was clear from the start that the staff is dedicated to providing excellent service. Our waitress, Laura, was friendly and attentive, setting the tone for a wonderful dining experience. To quench my thirst, I chose the Sunset Mushroom Brown Ale from Crooked Tooth Brewing, a perfect local pick that complemented my meal beautifully. For my appetizer, I ordered the Cast Iron Corn Bread, which was warm and fresh out of the oven. This blue cornbread, made with local honey and cinnamon, paired perfectly with the sweet bourbon butter--absolutely divine! For my entree, I couldn't resist The Parish Burger, an award-winning signature dish that did not disappoint. Cooked to a perfect medium, it was topped with blue cheese, crispy bacon, red onion marmalade, and Dijon mustard, all nestled between soft, fresh buns. I also ordered a side of hush puppies, which were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside--truly amazing!Every bite was a delight, from the buttery cornbread to the juicy, flavorful burger. I left The Parish feeling satisfied and eager to return. If you find yourself in Tucson, don't miss out on this culinary treasure! The combination of delicious food, friendly service, and that enchanting New Orleans atmosphere makes it a must-visit destination.

We usually love the Parrish! With that being said we decided to bring our adult children to try one of our favorite restaurants. This experience feel extremely short! I don't know if they were understaffed, but our server was not up to your standards! I again am not sure if he had to many tables, but the lack of service was disappointing. The dirty dishes on our table from appetizers, that we had to ask him to take. The constant ask for more water, the wait time on our food, which was not very good this time around. We had to send our sons steak back, as we asked for medium and it came out medium RARE! Once we flagged down our server to take it back, it took to long for him to bring it back out. We then had to again flag someone down for boxes and our check! For the money we paid the service and food fell very short! So disappointing

A friend recommended The Parish prior to our trip to Tucson. What a wonderful restaurant. The decor and ambiance is absolutely wonderful. It does not look like a big restaurant from the outside, but when you walk in, it's pretty big and there is even a nice private dining space in the back. The food was exceptionally delicious. So delicious we went to The Parish twice during our vacation. The service was spot-on! The first visit, our waitress recommended La Verdad drink. Oh my goodness! It was amazing!! I totally recommend it.Run, don't walk, to The Parish!!

I was here five years ago and hadn't realized it till I went into the restaurant. I checked my review from five years ago and saw that I really liked it. I came with four friends this time. Three of us ordered the gumbo with shrimp. One ordered a hamburger with gumbo on the side and one ordered a pulled pork with gumbo on the side. We had the fabulous cornbread as well. The drinks were exceptional as they were five years ago. Service was great. It's a very cool place.

It has been awhile since I've been at an establishment and everything we had blew the roof off of my tastebuds. We got 3 appetizers (corn bread/hush puppies/brussel sprouts), two entrees (drunken angel pasta/chicken and waffles), and a dessert (picked berry pie), they were all amazing! Will definitely go back to try the rest of the menu. Great job and definitely satisfied a foodie that day!

We were in town and wanted to try something local. Pleasantly surprised with how food the food was. The jambalaya was a little spicy but so delicious. My favorite thing was the cornbread and hushpuppies. I am obsessed now with hushpuppies. My husband got the seafood angel hair pasta and it was packed with seafood. The service was great. Our server was friendly and attentive The ambiance was eclectic but cute! I'm sure we'll come back if we're ever in town again

Earlier this year, we came here to celebrate Father's Day. During the beginning of November, my son, selected the Parish to celebrate his 19th birthday. We love this place and it is easily one of my top choices to dine in Tucson. The service, ambiance, and food are exceptional. For an appetizer, we had the Hot Legs Le' Jean (Black pepper and horseradish rubbed frog legs wrapped in bacon, with creole remoulade; Gluten Free) as my son never had frog legs before. They were amazingly memorable. My son also enjoyed his chicken and waffle. For the main dish, I had the Drunken Angel, and my mom had the Smokin' Angel. Both had so much flavor. As my wife has a shellfish allergy, our waiter was able to accommodate a selection of the lunch menu. Thank you for that act of kindness. She also enjoyed the mocktail, the Spiced Cinnamon Apple Mule. The Parish has my highest recommendations!

This is a cute little place in Tucson where it feels like Louisianna! The place is decorated like that area and the dishes are thoughtfully prepared using recipes straight from the bayou it seems. I was very excited to indulge in some excellent food and great drinks! I will certainly be back again to try something more. The bartender and other waitstaff really took their jobs seriously and we're all about great customer service.

We were there for Mardi Gras. I think they hired all of the best servers in Tucson. We changed tables 3 times and our server never lost us. They were attentive and courteous, stopped at the table about hourly to check us out. We were there from 1pm to 9:30 pm. The food was delicious with hardly any wait and the hurricanes were delicious. I highly recommend.
