We just signed a 2022-2023 lease with The Mark, and am relieved after seeing tons of websites who had photos of their property and amenities, and when you show up in person for a tour, it's not what you thought it was. For the amazing amenities the value for what you get is priceless based on what's out there in Tucson. The Mark has roof top pools, spas, saunas, outdoor bbq, fire pits, Internet cafe, computer lounge with free printing, private courtyards, and community events, I was ready to move in!The 4x4 apartment (they have studios, 2 bedroom, 3 bedroom, and 4 bedroom - yet not for sure what isn't sold out yet) has modern full size appliances and is fully furnished even with a washer and dryer in their apartment. In the 4x4 we chose, each resident has their own bedroom and bathroom which locks. My freshman daughter currently lives in Arbol, and it's nice to have The Mark be only 4 blocks from her current dorm, as well as having a shuttle to and from campus. The Mark has community events for residents once a month, which helps everyone meet each other.

Don't recommend at all to anyone, management is extremely rude and doesn't seem to care at all when concerns are brought up. We had our room assigned and they chose to switch our room less than a week before we moved in and removed our amenities. When they finally reached back out to us they said there was nothing they could do and were extremely rude. Haven't even lived there yet but have had a terrible first impression due to the unprofessional workers at the Mark and their lack of care for their residents. Look else where.

this place is a joke my 5 year old nephew can give you better answers than David the so called "community manager" will.everything is broken, garbage is EVERYWHERE. the gate on the corner of broadway and tyndall BROKEN the door to get into the building? BROKEN. does everybody have access to every single spot of this building after that? YUP!david had a walkthrough with my roommate just to discover his whole building is broken and all he can say is "ohhh this is broken too" like uh do you even walk around the building you're a community manger for crying out loud.car has been broken into that was cool david did nothing. actually i was the one to tell him that the security signs posted around the garage is actually not in service and the number is a dead end. his response was "ohhh i didn't know that i'll get those taken down today" lol they weren't taken down until july. this happened in december...instead of fixing the door handles they put a huge rock on the top of the door to prop it open lol just wait till that falls on your students head.btw if there was an emergency 4 floors of residents are stuck because they can't get out. hope you like your college students dying! at least then you can sue. i'm seriously not even trying to be comical because this whole building is the bigger joke. i can go on and on about this place from personal experience and then go on and on more about other residents experiences.this place is in violation of so many basic human rights that go unnoticed and uncared for because of our age. it's a scam. they don't listen to any of the actual residents. just wipe their hands.oh and i've contacted the main company that runs this place. they told me to talk to david...

An absolute dump with an extremely incompetent staff. Pool furniture falling apart. Security gates and doors always broken putting my daughter at risk. (2 guys roaming the corridors with knives on 2 different occasions). The entire place is a giant weed bed. The courtyard has garbage everywhere. The people above my daughter throw dog crap and pet pads into the courtyard below. Homeless hang out in the parking garage at night because the gate is broken. Do yourself a favor... RUN

They gave out my Information to someone calling and asking if I lived there. Provided them with a key and everything. None of the doors to the garage lock, there is vomit that had been on the stairs and the garage for months on end. When my fire alarm started beeping they told me to unplug it. Lots of ant and pigeon problems. Whenever I bring up a concern it is dismissed. I know many people who pay for a parking pass but don't get to park in the garage because they ran out of stickers. I have lived in a lot of apartments and this has been the worst by far.

Are there worse places to live? Sure? Is this place run well? Not at all. The price is better than a lot of places that you'll find near campus (and honestly, the location isn't bad. Walking to campus is very doable if you don't want to take the shuttle). From our move in day (when we discovered the assigned room had not been cleaned at all, had urine stained carpet that smelled horrible and that was torn up by a dog in several places, and the room was smaller than any of the other rooms even though we were charged a premium) to the constantly broken gate, to the amenities that were frequently closed, the Mark was a disappointment.Management never seemed to care. In fact, it took reaching out to corporate to get them to replace the destroyed carpet (manager initially refused to do so). When the key pads to get into the building were broken, allowing anyone to walk right in, work orders went unanswered. When there was vomit in the hallways and trash dumped everywhere, management couldn't be bothered.Yes, college apartment complexes are going to get treated roughly. Young adults can be messy and cause damage. But tenants pay a lot of money for safe and secure areas. To find homeless people camped outside your door is not a great feeling. I know some people have a great experience here and I am happy for those people. But I also think people should be aware that these people are not going to do anything other than the absolute bare minimum if something goes wrong.

Buyer Buyer - Unethical Real Estate Practices1) Requested signed guaranty without spouse's signature. AZ is a community property state. 2) Requested signed guaranty by parent without being provided a copy of the lease to see what he was a personal guaranty for. The lease should have been included for his review with the electronic signature documents for the guaranty.

The mark has some of the worst service I've ever encountered. If something's broken don't expect them to fix it, not to mention the walls are paper think with a two inch gap between the ceiling. I can hear the people in the apartment next to me texting. The ringer from the keyboard typing is clearly audible from the next room over. Horrible apartment complex

if you want your child to live in a complex that tells them to just remove the smoke alarms because they don't want to fix them, and then leave them without any fire alarms for over a month, never fixes the lighted exit signs in the hallways, leaves stairwell doors broken and inaccessible, trapping people inside the halls in the case of a fire, and leaves unit doors with broken handles for a week straight with the property manager being fully aware, then this is a great place to live. if you want your child to live in squalor, where there is a fire alarm beeping on the first floor for 6 months straight, where garbage overflow causes the constant aroma of dumpster juice and fruit fly/cockroach infestations unit wide, this is a great place to live. if you are ok with unfinished ceilings that leave a 2 inch gap between the walls and the ceiling, this place is for you. if you like the look of a 10 ft wide hole in the ceiling on the 5th floor of the parking garage, go ahead and sign. they are very careful to only show you the model unit and the amenities (a hammock and tv were broken last year and have never been replaced, the pool sticks and balls are severely damaged, the printers are always broken, the hot tub won't heat up). make sure you ask to visit the first floor in building 2. that's what they don't want you to see. the parking gate is always broken and homeless people love to come in. it's great. the gates on the corner of broadway and tyndall have been broken for over a year and maintenance is aware that strangers can enter the complex at all hours whenever they want. the security is a joke. the signs that had a security number in the parking garage were showing an out of service number, and the property manager was unaware this was the case. he did not post a new security number for six months.they just care about lying to you long enough for you to sign the lease. they don't care after. do not sign here under any circumstances. you will be trapped for a year.
