I've raved-reviewed Horseshoe Grill multiple times, but I need to do it once more, since I ordered something newish on the menu and definitely new to me at Horseshoe. Every weekend offers a rotating choice of surf-and-turf specials, like steak and lobster, steak and scallops, steak and shrimp. The diner can choose from two sizes of top sirloin, ribeye, porterhouse, t-bone, and New York. I've even gone off label and had their succulent mesquite-smoked ribs with lobster. We most often show up for steak and lobster. In the mood for a Horseshoe steak, the hub and I went Saturday night even though lobster was not on the menu. Hub had the top sirloin and a loaded baked potato (not sure what they do with their bakers, but the texture and flavor are the best!). I was thrilled that the salad bar had been reinstated and it was full of freshness: a bin of Romaine and one of mixed greens, grape tomatoes, black olives, two kinds of shredded cheese, cauliflower, broccoli, red onion, a corn mixture, cucumbers, beets, carrots and a few more I can't remember; plus at least nine pitchers of different house-made dressings. (Should have taken a pic of the salad bar.)The special was steak Oscar, and it was incredible. My top sirloin was perfectly medium rare as ordered, and was topped with crab, Bearnaise, and asparagus. The crab in Bearnaise was so delicious, so luscious, so decadent, that I did not leave a drop on my plate. SO GOOD! Reservations are a good idea, especially on weekends. Service was friendly and efficient, as always. But that Oscar! OMG.

I have to begin this review by beseeching management to place YES! We're open! Signs all over the frontage. We nearly missed out on THE best wings in Tucson because the suites on either side of this little gem are being renovated. If some guy hadn't been standing outside we'd have driven on. We would've missed out. The restaurant is comfy rustic inside and smells delicious, exactly what I want in my steakhouse. I am back again, twice in one week. I'm going to be a regular for sure.

Was able to snag dinner reservations for Valentine's Day... but wishing I had tried this place out on a different day. The prix fixe menu was well presented/ but lacked depth of flavor and somewhat overpriced. The wagyu ribeye filet was drier and didn't have the tenderness I associate with wagyu. The lava cake was dry but the house made peach cobbler was good. It is a bar and grill vibe with lots of seating. Curious on their bbq.. and will check it out sometime... but I would avoid a special event/ prix fixe meal there for sure.

Service is amazing. I came across town to try this place. Great buzz about it. I had the steak and scallops special. Steak was an aged New York. Cooked correctly and great taste and texture. Velvet had the petite sirloin, their smallest steak. It was more like a filet than a sirloin. Tender and almost melt in your mouth. Service was amazing, did I say that?

Always a good meal and drinks here. This place is a hidden gem on the east side in a unsuspecting shopping center. The menu has plenty to choose from my favorite is the A'La carte and sides. The 1/4lb brisket Mesquite grilled shrimp and sweet potato fries. The quarter chicken with THG seasoning was ok a little too long in the warmer I think. The service timing with drinks appetizers and main dishes was timed well and the waitress checked back timely. The projector screen TV is just the right size for the room and there is no sound so the dining area is not loud. The place is mostly spot on when we have been there. It is worth a visit and we will be back again.

My co- foodie and I came here as soon as they opened on a Thursday. We ordered chicken sandwich and hamburger. The lady server was very friendly! She even offered us skewered meat (on the house)- unfortunately we don't eat red meat. Their cowboy ranch theme certainly represents this side of town. We will definitely be back!

Had high hopes for a great bbq...loads of good smokey smells, I was really hoping it translated into the food, but not so much.I had a side of ribs, brisket and sausage, the sausage by far was the best of the three. Prices were on the high side for the quantity and price. The outdoor seating out front is essentially sharing the roadway/parking lot, indoors is a quaint Texasish vibe.Service was a bit rough, spotty and it wasn't busy.Over all, just underwhelming. Still looking for a BBQ joint in Tucson.

My wife and I there yesterday. The service was very good, food above average, but it was hard to enjoy because of the pesky flies. It is annoying to try to your food and talk with the person that is at the table with you.
