The Hoppy Vine

Hoppy Vine is a wonderful chill bar with something for everyone! I love the option of enjoying a flight. You can do wine and beer flights. I am usually more of a wine rather than beer person, but actually enjoyed the beer tastings more. Perhaps it was our selection, but many of the wines seemed a bit diluted in flavore. Next time I will stick with a beer flight.They do have a small selection of snacks, but you can also bring in food. There are good food options in the plaza such as Charred Pie and Tuk Tuk. They are also a location for wine and paint events. This is the perfect location for this activity.We will definitely be back!

GREAT just got GREATER with amazing service from Valerie and Hector, these people understand how to make people feel welcome! This place is truly firing on all cylinders. The vibe and atmosphere are spot on and the selection from their bottle-shop is nothing but first-class and very comprehensive. They made great wine and beer recommendations and made us feel like we have been part of their neighborhood for years. Plus, their customized charcuterie board (we asked for meat-free) for only $12 is mind boggling. This place is like Cheers, but with a bottle-shop and super fun vibe. Food trucks show up around 5:30 PM or so and will certainly try them out on our next visit. We highly recommend Hoppy Vine.

My dad always says when given a choice, take both! So as a woman who likes both local draft IPAs and good red wines, I was very happy with The Hoppy Vine! A group of 5 of us went Sunday afternoon. The format is go up to the bar to order. Krista was helping us and she was lovely. It's always nice when they let you try before you buy. I enjoyed the Mother Road Tower Station IPA, Stone Tangerine IPA and a nice full bodied barbera. The others in the group had various IPAs, lagers, and the Insider Cab Sav (a big hit). The wine is on tap so you'll never get 'the leftover wine from the night before', which is always a worry for wine-drinkers in beer places. The wine was served in a lovely large red wine glass, which I'm a sucker for. This would be a lovely place to grab a drink before or after a movie or shopping in the marketplace. Typical brewery tasting room look to it. Beautiful mountain views (over the parking lot) from the outdoor seating and the first couple tables in the place. It looks like they have a happy hour during the week 3-6pm. They have TVs so we caught part of the Cardinals football game which was nice. They just opened the day after Thanksgiving and they have a few things to work out but since I love supporting small business and would love them to succeed this is a solid 4 star place! A few opportunities for growth ;)- both owners were there but didn't come around to check in with the tables, even though we were there for several hours- the pretzels had zero salt on them.. but the mustard was delicious!

Love this place. This is something Oro Valley has been in desperate need of for quite some time! The owners are ahhhhhmazing. The atmosphere is super inviting. They have a variety of wine and beer. 20 beers and 13 wines on tap! Love the decor and space here. I only wish they had a bigger patio for the doggies!

Great service, great selection of beer. Cool vibe.Would have given 5 stars but it is pricey. Will have to go to hoppy hour.

Amazing "mocktails". Dog friendly and Veteran friendly. Locally owned and just friendly . I had a great time trying their recommendations. I would recommend for tastings and the trivia nights. I enjoyed visiting with the owners.

Great friendly service. Good selection of beer. Wine selection is big, but I'm not a big wine drinker. They have snacks and restaurants are next door for food. Great atmosphere and its very clean.

We are new to the area and ventured out with friends Saturday night and found ourselves at the Hoppy Vine. The cleaver name was a great lure to get our attention. I was really impressed with their selection of craft beers and wines by the glass. I was also glad to see they are pup friendly. The owners are quite friendly and have created an inviting atmosphere. Since they don't have a kitchen, guests are welcome to grab a pizza or Thai from one of the neighboring restaurants. We'll definitely be back.

This place is exactly what this area needs! They have 20 beers on tap plus lots of wine and Prosecco. The service is great, interior is great. They do serve snacks but also allow outside food. Definitely a local owned place to visit.
