The Happy Saguaro

The Happy Saguaro is a very interesting place--its huge inventory is beautifully presented and the staff is helpful but not pushy which allows for a pleasant shopping experience IMO. The store has broad selection of seasonal and year-round wares that are colorful and interesting. All the above said, I have two issues with the place. First, the seasonal products like Talavera and pottery are priced higher than other merchants by 20% and I think that may be due to their location and the amount of inventory--my best advice is to wait for a sale. Second is the lack of a public restroom which I find ridiculous--they advertise on social media so their audience is broad, after a two-hour trip being told you can use a restroom at Trader Joe's is ridiculously inconvenient.Would I recommend The Happy Saguaro? Yes and no, if you're in the area or enroute to other destinations, it's worth a stop. If you're looking for something in particular you have to have, call and it can be worth the drive but realize you may be paying for it.

What a great place to buy some really cool decor. All kinds of garden items, kitchen supplies, house decor for any occasion. The prices seem a little high, however these are hard to find items so it seems fair enough.Friendly staff is always a plus.

We came to browse and maybe buy. We re looking for a pot set that matches for the sides of the front door. We thought the prices were prohibitive for the budget. But they do have some nice choices. No one asked us anything about shopping. It was getting hot outside. We ll keep looking. All good.

I've only been able to walk by this place, but I always enjoy their displays...they add so much to Arizona just with their presence and appreciation of art! I take moments to admire things every time that I pass; I only wish they had more natural skulls.Believe it or not, we visited Arizona many years before we moved here, and The Happy Suguaro played a key factor in deciding to move here; it just captured the spirit and magic of the land so well. So, never think that an establishment is mere retail...it can be a whole lot more. Come here.Get inspired.And dream.Under desert skies...

Love the Happy Saguaro! Great little local shop full of all sorts of indoor/outdoor deco, furniture, jewelry, etc etc etc. It's in the same shopping center as Trader Joe's on Oracle Rd. in Oro Valley. So we always pop in just to see what's new any time we get groceries. :)

I've only been here once but very pleased to find what I was looking for in the clearance section outdoors, 2 medium large metal cacti (one was agave) in a discontinued green turquoise color that I liked better than the other turquoise/greens available at significantly lower prices than those. These things are pricey but the prices here are competitive and better than other places I checked. I wasn't there for more than a few minutes before deciding what I wanted and a guy came out asking if he could help - made it easy. I'll definitely go back here for my next purchase of similar garden art items. Be aware that there are no refunds, so be sure it's what you want before finalizing your purchase.

SCAM ALERT!! This place takes your money, charges absurd prices for shipping. Then doesn't ship what you bought. It's been a month since I bought a piece there and it still hasn't arrived. I have called, emailed, and texted the owner, but still nothing. Avoid this store!!

Love this store. Beautiful selection of everything from home to yard decor. Time to choose from. Employees are helpful and courteous. I've purchased several items from here and always enjoy browsing. The location is very convenient at Oracle and Magee in the Trader Joe's parking lot. Prices are reasonable on most items. Worth the visit.

Wonderful store! I have bought furniture there, as well as decorative pots and other decor for the home - both inside and out.Boy it's hot inside the store in the summertime though. Some beefy fans to move the air around would really help. Our summers are so long here.
