This groomer is great with our Bengal mix Lizzy. She was so beautiful when we picked her up. I would definitely recommend this place.

After a horrible experience with another groomers in greenvalley, I returned back to the groom shop ,as always I was treated with courteous and friendly service. And the same goes for my dog. I have never been dissatisfied from there service, they always treat my dog as part of the family and with care I feel completely at ease leaving a valued member of our family in there care . They give great service at a reasonable price ,I would recommend them to any one who wants there pet to be treated kind . Keep up the good work

Very helpful with my two dogs!!! My boy dog never was groomed before and ended up biting the owner and she wasn't mad or anything and she was still patient plus she sells little knickknacks and her shop dog toys dog beds and other items from artistic people in the community clean place and a good size!!!!

I'm new to the area and looking for a good groomer. I thought it would be a good idea to see the place in person rather than just make an appt over the phone. The girl who works here was nice enough and gave me a tour of the whole place. But the back room was filthy and she showed me the crates where they dry the dogs and they were really dirty. It was almost completely empty too and they had all of these cats running around. I got the sense that they don't do much business and didn't at all feel safe taking my dog there. So I didn't actually have my dog groomed, but I just thought I would save everyone a trip since it was pretty icky in there. Then I was on Google, looking for some alternatives, and there are some really negative and scary reviews too. That confirmed my feelings and I am so glad I went in person and didn't take my dog here. I would recommend trying somewhere else for grooming.

This review is long but it is mandatory you read this for the sake of your pet. After picking up my pet from The Groom Shop and taking him home, I found him to be horribly fearful of me and in severe pain on his head. On December 5, 2018, I took my pet to The Groom Shop, located at 115 W.Esperanza, Green Valley, AZ 85614. When I went to pick up my pet, I was told he had bitten everyone that tried to groom him. I had previously been asked if they could use a muzzle on him, if needed. (This should have been my first red flag!) I said of course, but he had never needed a muzzle before for the past year that I had had him at groomers. When I got him home, I found that he was horribly afraid of being touched. This had NEVER happened before. One of his eyes was completely red, obvious proof of injury while at their establishment. He was afraid to look me in the eye and continued to hang his head throughout the entire evening. He had no desire to play with me nor with the other pet in the house. This was completely out of character. 24 hours later and I am still unable to pet him thoroughly and his eye is still red. Throughout the past 24 hours, and still, he has remained extremely docile and not like himself at all. Aside from my having a Bachelor's degree in English and a partial Master's degree in Social Work, I have a degree with the University of Missouri at Columbia in the field of animal control through The Law Enforcement Training Institute School of Law associated with the National Animal Control Association. I have worked in the field of animal control through one of Ohio's Humane Societies and with several animal rescues from as far back as 1997. I know and am familiar with pet injuries, pet fear and the variety of excuses people use to validate and cover-uptheir mistakes. This must stop.Desired Outcome1. my money back that I paid for the grooming - $40; 2. any money I pay to the vet for a thorough checkup;3. verification of a business certification number with The State of Arizona; 4. proof of owner and employees being certified groomers.None of the above did i receive.Community - BE CAREFUL, VERY CAREFUL!!!!

I've been using Carol at The Groom Shop for nearly ten years. I love her and the way she treats the dogs and cats. She's very personal with each one of them and with the owners. You couldn't ask for a better place.
