The Gallery Golf Club

This golf course just chopped down two magnificent Saguaros for a three day golf tournament... Their response was that the Saguaro wasn't stable to be re-located... However they appeared pretty healthy in the videos captured. Unacceptable.

You chopped down Saguaros for a golf tournament?! Without a permit? Shame on you. I hope you get fined heavily. From the reviews it sounds like your club isn't great as well

This club just held a LIV golf tournament. To begin, they refused to provide residents with information about what was to come (the town of Marana is just as bad). During the event they BLASTED music beginning at 8:00am. They police would have them tone it down that they would just crank it back up. They trampled native desert landscape and illegally chopped down protected Saguaros!!! Here's hoping Ax dept of Ag does their job and imposes large fines. This place cares nothing for the environment if it means making a buck and the heck with homeowners. SHAME. People should avoid this place and all businesses that will tear apart the landscape for a dollar.

Not sure why the negative reviews. This is a fantastic golf course. It is very difficult for me, but my husband is single digit. We went with a member friend and I can not say enough good things about the course and the treatment we got from the pro shop staff. I highly recommend the Gallery.

I volunteer at an annual charity golf tournament every year and help with set up and a few other things. We've been doing this for probably 20 years and have been all over Tucson, Green Valley and Oro Valley. Our experience at The Gallery Golf Club was exceptional! The staff was incredible, the course gorgeous and well cared for, the rangers and other personnel out on the course were hospitable and kind. There was not one single person who doesn't deserve accolades. The food served in the clubhouse after the tournament was over was top notch and everyone raved about the food. The chef started with us at 6am as he made breakfast burritos for the crowd, accommodated special diet requests and was working hard for the afternoon meal ~ all the while with a genuine smile.Gallery employee Mike coordinated our tournament and helped with all the details. He was the calm amongst the crazy as we were setting up registration tables while eager golfers arrived early. Mike was pulled in a million different directions and calmly handled any all problems that arose.If your group is looking for a location for a charity golf tournament, I highly recommend The Gallery Golf Club.

This golf club is overrated. My mom is a devoted golfer and had watched PGA tour in Ritz Carton Dove Mountain Tucson earlier this year. She said, lets go, so she flew all the way from KOREA to TUCSON to play golf (did I say, devoted?) Prior to checking into Gallery, we had play at the Troon North, Scottsdale. We were very excited to play at the Gallery, but the course condition was quite disappointing. We were there in May, and the majority of grass was DEAD..like dried up..yellow..dead!! The landscape was not well maintained either. The club house, restaurant, and other facilities were nice, but the course itself was terribly maintained. The level of service was excellent though. There were guys who helped us load and unload clubs, and the front desk people were very nice as well. It was really disappointing compared to The Troon North, and Ritz Dove Mountain.. Hope they get their grass situation sorted out.

They seem to be mowing down everything in marana, gallery and dove mountain Much better courses around which have preserved the landscape. Star Pass, La Paloma both are top notch and have beautiful views of saguaros

This place likes to chop down ancient saguaro cacti to make way for a temporary platform for a 3 day golf tournament. Those cacti were growing for hundreds of years and have been here longer than your grandma. The things you do for dollars...SHAME ON YOU!!! THIS PLACE STINKS

Senior management really needs to take a look at the staff they have who are "supervisors/managers". One specifically only works a few hours a day, leaving regularly and not coming back. Things will be said like I'm going to Home Depot to get a part and that part is never purchased. This manager/supervisor will ask a staff member to do a job, go to the area that the work needs to be completed and leave, leaving the employee on their own doing a two person job. The staff will submit requisitions for items needed and they are never fulfilled. Please take a closer look at those you have in charge whom you may think are doing a great job.

Once was enough. Played rojo tees on north course. Not women friendly. Greens guarded by threatening bunkers. Good shots rewarded by rolling off back of green or into desert. Single digits might enjoy it, but the rest of us can have a more enjoyable round elsewhere.
