We're pretty new to The Dugout Sports Bar & Grill but our experience thus far has been exceptional. We have a local sports fan club and were looking for a new home and approached the owners of The Dugout. After a little discussion, they were open to allowing our group to meet for every game and gave us their game room for our club. The care and attentiveness by all is so appreciated from the owners, the bar staff and even the ball boys! We are so well taken care of!Doesn't hurt that the food is actually really good either. I especially love the lemon pepper boneless AND bone-in wings. Not too salty and just the right flavor. And Destiny makes a great spicy Bloody Mary! The batting cages are lots of fun too. I highly recommend The Dugout!

Only getting 1 star because there was no option for zero stars. Probably the worst service I've ever had. Rude and very disrespectful. Absolutely not cool. From the get go, "Danielle W" gave shit vibes and I won't be going back.

I was a little nervous coming here after reading the previous reviews. However we really wanted to use the batting cages and celebrate my friends birthday. So I felt I should leave an honest review of my experience. Food 4.5 Customer service 2Cleanliness 4Atmosphere 2Drinks 4 based on beer and Jell-O shots = average 3.3 starsWe went on a Saturday around 830pm. We were greeted right away, attended to within minutes. There were maybe 10 people there. Music was classic rock.Bathrooms were pretty clean and I felt comfortable using them. No one was using the the batting cages. A few of them were wonky but majority of them worked great. It took maybe 30 minutes to get our food but it was really hot. I ordered the Diamond Back pizza which was Jalapeño, bacon, pepperoni, mushroom. I received a pizza with pepperoni, ham, sausage, and bell pepper. A combination that isn't even on the menu. It did taste great though!Jell-O shots were amazing. Drinks did run dry and had to ask a couple times to get new drinks. When who I assume was the busser came to our table to grab our plates, we asked if he could get us more beers. He responded, "you'll have to get that through her" pointing at the bartender. He then walked away without going to the bartender to at least let her know. She had noticed the exchange and then had to ask what we wanted then headed over to us. Music then switched to some rap music and vibe changed. A bunch of what appeared to be adolescents/ early twenties showed up around 930. Around 10 we just couldn't catch the vibe and left. This place has a lot of potential given it's the only batting cage bar on this side of town. They could use some more customer service training and how to be more attentive rather than their aloofness. But maybe that's due to their maturity level not sure. Also unless you're feeding the juke box money nothing plays. So a background music for when no one has chosen anything would be good. The food is also really what they got going for them. Still not sure how they got my pizza toppings wrong, but again it still was hot and tasted fantastic. Maybe I'll come back again if they can get the right crowd in and bring a good vibe.

Unless you are sitting at the bar there is NO customer service! Been coming here for 23 years and the prior owners always checked on you to get your orders or see if you needed anything else. Under the new ownership this is non existent. Apparently if you don't sit at the bar they don't need your business. When I complained about it I was told if I didn't like it, don't come back! Food quality has gone down and a number of menu items have been eliminated. The music was so loud we couldn't hear each other talk across the booth. I won't go back and would not recommend this place to anyone! Very sad day.

Went on a busy Friday night and had a great time. We went for the batting cages and stayed longer for the great priced beers and friendly service! Great place to take your family or go for a date night!

It's nice of you to stick up for your business, but even when there wasn't a full bar, we still had to wait a long time for the food, and the bartenders standing around still looked like they didn't want to be there and overlooked several empty glasses, til you had to wave at them for service,. Homeplate had happy attitudes and the the previous chef always came up to us and asked how our order was. If it was wrong in any way, he corrected it. So sorry, I can't be swayed in to the new environment .

Wish I could give this old gem a 5 star for not only being here for so long but to keep the family friendly vibe alive...the decisions is based on who's working to get somewhat "good" customer service. Unfortunately the negative clientele outweighs all obstacles when the employees who are or are not working weigh in on the negative comments and antagonize the situation to then realize it's "a family restaurant" as quoted by an employee well after engaging into the conversation. Super unfortunate way to end our last time here at the home plate aka dugout hoping to give it another shot but it sounds like the customers or veteran customers are not respected! "Sorry" is nice to hear but fixing the issue goes a long way!

The bathroom was disgusting.. fences and piss the food was awful, I got the fish and chips with salad.. their Friday deal.. the fish looked like the fish you get from McDonalds for your fish sandwich but McDonalds is better. The salad was basically lettuce and tomatoes the ranch was so watered down it didn't have any taste. My husband got a grilled cheese with fries.. they gave us potato chips that were wet.. the pickle was even soft. My son had a Philly cheese and everything about that was awful tasting.. the only good thing was my alcoholic beer and my husband's, the son had a beer with lime, the line was old and awful tasting so he couldn't even enjoy his beer.. I do NOT recommend this place. When it was home plate at least the food was good..

I was at the new Dugout today, one of the worst experiences I have ever had. I have been going there when it was Home Plate for about 20 years. One bartender on duty (she wanted to be anywhere else but there. I ordered a cheeseburger rare. When they brought it out about 45 minutes later, I asked for ketchup I was told they didn't have any. I walked around to find a bottle of ketchup. I started to eat the burger and found it was well done (dry). I told them about it an the cook told me he couldn't cook it rare because of the meat (never heard anything like that before. After 20+ years the new owner doesn't care about their customers. Very sad!!!
