This is my favorite shop in the old town of Tubac. Every year when we come down here I have to stop at this shop, specifically because I have always walked away with some treasures.Located in the back middle section of the downtown shops, you can't miss this spot because of all of the pottery and outdoor decor. My mom and I love this spot as they bring their pottery and ceramics from Mexico. It's obviously going to be priced up but it saves us from crossing the border and knowing we're getting handmade items. One of the staples of this place is their giant ceramic tiled skulls that they have outside. It's definitely picture worthy while here. While primarily this shop is decor and home/garden furnishing they do have some cute little gifts inside. I got one of my favorite skulls rings here many years ago and it's definitely a must stop shop when in Tubac.Just be aware they are closed Mondays and Tuesdays.

We like to make this a last stop because they have such a variety. They have been here 47 years , live in the back and if you have a military tattoo,, a military discount. Mine is 60 years old and she still looks fine.

Looks like a fun store. Went to get cute hand towels. Unfortunately, it's closed on Mondays & Tuesdays. You can purchase outside merchandise with no exchanges and leave the money in an envelope including tax & put in the door slot.

This establishment has been open for over 40 years and has the best prices on pottery than any store in Tubac. Whatever you're looking for you will probably be able to find it here. Visit this gem for pottery, kitchen servingware, new trends and so much more. Also the brother /sister team that run the store are fabulous to work with. Really kind people.

Love this store! Even when they aren't open, they have an 'honor system' and you can leave payment in the door slot and take your item(s) from outside. Employees friendly, great selection of pottery and such. I've purchased many items over the years.

The Munger family owns and operates this wonderful little shop. Max Is usually there and willing to help load the bigger stuff into your vehicle- they have so many beautiful items to choose from and you will always find something. They also have original artwork of Jean Ekman Adams who is also author...see attached photo.

I've been coming to visit my grandparents in Tubac for the last 20 years, have basically been to every store in town, and The Country Shop is hands-down my favorite. They have a great selection of both outdoor and indoor Talavera goods, cute stuff for kids, colorful and uniquely crafted items, and are always friendly and helpful. It's my one-stop souvenir and home decor shop!

Our favorite Tubac stop! We've been customers here for over 10 years and really enjoy our visits in both winter and summer! You never know what great finds you'll discover. The outdoor area is a great place to take pictures too! It's a wonderful family-run shop. You can even shop their outdoor selection when they are closed and stick your check in the front door slot. I've seen the Country Shop do more business while closed in July than the nearby shops that were open ; - ) .
