The Blind Man

Cal Rudner, aka The Blind Man, is honestly one of the best professionals I have worked with. I called him early in the week to set up an appointment for the windows in our home. He was able to schedule something the same week. Cal called to confirm the appointment the day before and showed up right on time for the appointment. He is very honest and straight forward presenting you with what would be the best for your home and tastes. He will tell you the thermal ratings on everything and if there's a special going on with a manufacturer you will know about it. I would recommend Cal to anyone!

I recently installed new windows in my condo and wanted to do away with the old melted phony wood look blinds that came with my new home. I had installed a pair of blackouts in another home but wanted to pick the "Blind Mans" brain and discuss options available to me. After much discussion we decided on two different blinds for different applications. Cals professionalism made me feel confident in our choices and I awarded him the bid. He said it would be ten days to two weeks for the custom blinds to be made and installed. 13 days later the installer arrived and within 45 minutes all 7 of my blinds were up and running. I had removed the old blinds and hardware and the installation was smooth as silk. I would highly recommended The Blind Man, and will not hesitate to use him in the future. Thanks again Cal! I had just moved into a home and some of the blinds were not working properly. One new blind was ordered and Cal arranged to have the others repaired. The new blind was delivered and installed and the others were repaired quickly. Called to ask for an estimate at our Tucson home. Spoke with owner/manager (?). Mentioned I had Hunter Douglas blinds. Wanted to replace them with something less expensive and easier to maintain. I mentioned I was looking for a lower cost blinds solution. Guess my budget was was too low to get an estimate or a call back. Disappointing. Got my blinds elsewhere.
