Love this place. Great lunch! The sandwich selection is perfect. The host remembered my husband and I, and we had only been twice prior. Fresh soups made daily. Unsweetened Mango tea is wonderful. The roast their own coffee bean. Treat yourself to a slice of pie and an espresso!!! Outstanding customer service!!!!

I took out a friend to the Bistro for Valentine's Day. She has never been there. The service is amazing. It's a popular place by all the people seated in there. I think it's a neighbor favorite making me wish they were in my neighborhood. We ordered the Salmon hors d'oeuvre and it was delicious it's a big order, very filling, a touch of spice. The order is big enough for at least two people maybe three to eat. My friend ordered a pizza. I ordered the cubano sandwich. The pizza is easily enough for two people. It is an artesian pizza and they cooked it just right. Crispy crust and as you will see in the picture it looks delicious. My sandwich I was excited for but after a bite it was horrible. The meat was advertised as ham (I love ham) but it was three thick slices of fried bologna. I still ate about a quarter of an inch to try it. And yes it was fried bologna. I could not eat any more. It was not as advertised. I never would had ordered this sandwich as it came. Horrible. The owner/server asked how everything was. (By then it was getting crowded.). I shook my head and he said no? I said no it was not good. He asked what was the matter. I said the meat and added I thought ham was suppose to he in this sandwich. He said it was ham. Unless some people call bologna ham what? He tried to reassure me again it was ham. (My neighbor said no that is fried bologna.). The owner then went on to say "to be honest most men like that sandwich take it home to your husband. ". I'm thinking what makes you think he would eat it (which he didn't). I didn't argue or go on about this with the place being crowded. He brought to go containers I brought it home. And it went straight to the garbage. Now if he would have said is there something else you would like to order (like most establishments) I would have paid the difference and got a pizza to go. But that was not an option. They do not have a liquor license yet but they do have BYOB. I think with a corking fee but not for sure. So all in all our hors d'oeuvre was good. My neighbor liked her pizza. The service was attentive. But wasted aprox. 14.00 on a sandwich that ended up in the garbage. Will we be back? I don't think so at least for a while. Too many other places just as nice or nicer. The expecting me to believe it's ham and knowing the sandwhich was awful and expecting me to take MY meal home and give it to another person after my complaint rubs me the wrong way and personally not good business. I gave it 3 stars because they did do a lot of good and it's loved by the neighborhood for coffee and breakfast/lunch.

Excellent food, well prepared, thoughtful,friendly staff. Informal, good prices. The location is surprisingly convenient!

Ate here and loved it. We could not believe how big the portions were of the pasta for the price. I even had leftovers for lunch the next day. There were 4 of us and we all ordered something different and each loved the taste of our dish. Service was fast and chipper. Highly recommend coming in.

Service is always good here. It was a good to place during the pandemic. I do love their wedge salads. Locally owned.
