It's like walking over a 150 years into the past. The 14 birdcage cribs 7 on eachad that is where the soil dubs detained angels and the falling ladies-of-the-night applied their trade in the birdcage theater. It was gambling that's all theater hand painted.Stage front and back stage is all original as it was over a 150 years ago. It's like walking back into time.Everything is original. The birdcage theater has a original seven bullet holes what is in the front bar on the far?Hand side is a bullet hole and still if you can get a light you can actually look into and see the bullet hole it's worth your family package deal. The region I know about the bird cage theater.I used to work for them.Enjoyed miss paula and papa bill RIP

I have wanted to come check out the Birdcage Theatre since I saw it many many years ago as a teen on one of many ghost hunting shows, not only was I so interested in the history of this amazing building with seemingly endless stories of tragedy and passion in its many forms but also of course the lives and history of the people, men an women alike who spent their time in this establishment. We opted for the ghost hunting tour and were so lucky to end up being the only ones on the tour. We had to purchase a 3rd ticket so the tour would run and let me tell you it was absolutely worth it. Not only was our guide so kind and incredibly personable but she was so knowledgeable of the stories of some of the most well known people who still linger in the birdcage. Every inch of this place is riddled with stories-and bulletholes. After our incredibly informative guided tour we sat in the main room behind the stage with some ghost hunting equipment and the lights were all turned out. The energy at no point was negative, the flashlights were the most active part of the session, with some intermittent attention from the k2 meters on the table in front of us and the rem pod set up by the stairs chiming to get our attention a few times. Though the patrons and performers may not be in our same plane anymore they certainly still enjoy entertainment! After our guide had told us a story earlier in the night of them wanting to hear her sing,I decided to ask myself if they would like a song, it was so much fun to see the flashlights flickering and lighting up as I sang. I wouldnt miss the ghost tour as it was a truly special experience and was the highlight of our trip to the area. I just hope I can find my way through to hop on one of the ghost tours again!

I went on the bird cage theater, ghost tour, and it was amazing the lady leading the tour was very friendly and informative and the lights out section of the show was very exciting and we caught a couple of faces in our own camera I'm so glad that we went on the tour and we do plan to go back in a future date

Unfortunately I was in town for short time so I stopped very early to check out the bird cage theater, but it was closed. I'll definitely try to visit it next time I'm in town.

We have been in the Bird Cage theater multiple times and it never disappoints. This time we brought some of our paranormal investigation equipment and we're not disappointed. Go for the history, haunts and to just see a glimpse of the old West.

Beautiful old building that is well preserved and an exhibit unto itself. The actual museum pieces were also a nicely laid out and well tagged collection that told the story of the building and town. 10/10.

Night Ghost Tour Only...The Bird Cage Theater is fabled in Tombstone history, but our recent Ghost Tour was VERY disappointing.Evening Ghost Tour prices have doubled -- now $40/person. Remember, while this tour covers the entire theater/brothel/gambling hall the focus supposedly features the supernatural. The final leg of the hour-tour was sitting in the blacked-out theater watching and listening for spirits associated with the Bird Cage and objects in it.This was our third time over several years. Before, tour guides permitted flash photography for the last 10 minutes ONLY.This time, the tour leader allowed flash photography throughout. The continuous piercing white light flashes completely destroyed the experience. The light barrage also ruined night vision -- essential to see supposed ghostly manifestations we were being told about. Our tour guide justified her laxity saying "other guides limit photography to the last 10 minutes -- I don't. I've got too many other things to do."Darkness is essential to the Bird Cage Ghost Tour experience. While skeptical about hauntings, we have, indeed, experienced odd things here. The continual (and in the opinion of myself and most others in our group of 12) was that blinding flash photography in that setting was enormously distracting. Sadly, management's lack of concern for the visitor experience compromised a very expensive event ($40).By the way, guides use personal cell phones to show guests purported images of apparitions. Why can't management provide guides with larger tablet devices -- or better still (very inexpensive) big screen monitors? 25 tour guests all trying to view a tiny mobile phone screen in this day and age is absolutely absurd.

Went to The Birdcage Theatre this last weekend. My husband and I did the 6:15pm ghost tour. It was amazing. Loved the tour guide, she was great and informative. I believe I captured something, everyone I have shown the picture to sees what I see. Would definitely go again!!!

Well to start, I was disappointed. The town has so much potential to be a great historical site. The town should've been built back exactly to scale, and names of businesses to what it was before the fire. They could've had business owners authenticate the actual mining town feel, with the dress of the old west, and scattered actors in gambling halls, and saloons. Really immerse people in the actual old west days. Even if admission had to be charged to enter each building, it would have been worth the price. The history of the town should never be modernized. Just my opinion
