My girlfriend purchased a 1997 Chevy Cavalier (party like it's 1999?) and before she could romantically whisk me away to my high school 'glory days' there had to be a workable battery. Yeah baby yeah!A Friday morning trip to The Battery Factory with the old battery in tow and $35 and less then 30 minutes later we were off to dream of the 90s. :)

If you happen to have a really awesome, well running car that definitely holds charge on the battery, like myself, you might find their services useful. I got a refurbished battery for 49$ for my Jaguar..you do get money back if you give them your old battery..I believe about 14$. They will not put the battery in for you, even if you offer to pay, which is too bad. Otherwise, awesome place for those days when you're on your way to the dealership to trade in your car ;)

I got a battery 2 months ago, had 2 go back because the battery was defective there mechanic put the battery in backwards so my lady shocked her hand..... He recognizes that he did wrong so he tries to finish the job for her but doesn't fix the battery placement so he jams the post ++ & --making my car wires burnt out..... I personally talked to The store manager and one of the owners Mike Olson, not only did he hear the mechanic admit to his wrongdoing but he then told me to my face that him and his workers would not agree or confirm it if I took them to court because there a big company & I wouldn't get nothing out of them..... Now I'm out my car because it's at the dealership, Mike was incredibly rude and disrespectful..... I thought this was a good place of business but I wasn't mistaken save your money and just go to AutoZone. It's not worth the hassle & their management is not only negligent there scamming people my lady got taken advantage of , now my family is out the only car that we had to provide for our 6 year old daughter. Now I'm stuck with the $600 repair bill for a new alternator and to replace all the wiring and fuses that they burnt out....I will say the only effort that they did to try and do right was them giving me three fuses that they found that were burnt and a tap on the shoulder telling me good luck taking them to court while he had a smirk on his face! After the employee admitted to his wrongdoing Mike said "we will be sure not to say that at court"..... I couldn't believe that he would say that to me with a straight face in front of his store manager and employee, showing no remorse for there wrong doing or for there lack of professionalism, he had the nerve to coach his employee on changing his story of what he did so there not held accountable when all of this was clearly avoidable if they would've been paying attention to how the battery was placed in the car! I got a call from one of the owner letting me know that they sell tens of thousands of dollars in merchandise and that the best they can do is reimburse me for the battery as far as the $600 in damages that their employee did to my car that is tough luck that I would have to pay for it out-of-pocket there a big company and they have better things to worry about then a small time consumer!

Nice guy on the phone, Nice price for a refurb! $40 otd, 90 day warranty. As Nikky pointed out, bring some tools, they don't install.Beats $112 plus tax for a new one.Well, you live, you learn. 15 months later, my "blemished" battery has died. Guaranteed for 12 months. $59 is a good price for a good product, unfortunately I'm off to Walmart for a battery in the morning. Look like they're out of business anyway.
