Do not rent from this place.If you have any problems the office staff will be rude and will not help you in any way. Once you sign a lease they only care about getting your money but don't care about taking care of problems or tenants.

Gave it 1 star cause I couldn't give it 0. On average with utilities we spent about 1000$ per month. For no washer or dryer. When we first moved in, the apartment wasn't too bad. But 1 month in and we saw how bad it really was. We moved into a 528 sq ft 1 bed 1 bath that has only two windows that both face north. Even with both blinds fully open the natural lighting is dismal. The outdated chiller system gave up on us in June which resulted in our apartment being 80 degrees 24/7 when we'd have it set at 70. So a new one was installed and while it now works, it vibrates every square inch of the apartment. The floors are uneven. The grout in the shower leaked to our downstairs neighbor. The walls are as thin as paper. So the non stop barking from the downstairs German shepherd got very old very fast. Heavy rains leaked through my neighbors window. And as our lease comes to an end we were offered a renewal starting price of 1050$. 200$ MORE than when we signed up. For a 528 square ft apt with no washer or dryer or proper a/c. One last thing, if you do decide to move in, they won't tell you, but you're charged the same rate for AC if you use it non stop or not use it at all.

They charged me the wrong amount of rent. Since my auto pay was on I didn't have a chance to catch it before the payment went through. Now they're keeping my money and won't give it back. These people are extremely shady and dishonest.

Management is extremely rude and unprofessional! Beware of Lisa she is judgmental and will make it a point to make you uncomfortable in your own home. Dealing with the harassment from management was unbearable we were forced to break our lease. We were harassed with the pet policy. This place is inconsiderate and poorly managed. Washers never worked upgraded apartments are caked with paint making doors hard to open and dishes stick to cabinets just to name a few. Work orders were never fulfilled. Office is snobby and rude responding to text. We had just moved out of our apartment about 2 weeks ago from this text and they attempted to send a paid bill to collections because they lacked the communication with one another. When we called concerned this is the response we received.

This place is a dump! People don't care! Trash everywhere! Dog crap throughout the premises! Bad location! Very busy the noise from the main road is horrible! Anna is nice ! Richard maintenance great guy! Been here since August seen a big change! Not for the best ! People steal ! Get into your vehicle! Park in others people parking spots. I wish I would of picked a different place. Thankful for a place to leave.Just not a good place to leave!

I know many people who have lived here and it just seems like it is so poorly managed. The AC seems to break frequently along with everything else. Even submitting a maintenance request will be ignored for months, in the heat of summer. It is unsafe. I'm very glad I decided not to submit an application and I want to warn others of the same.

Several owners not picking up dog poop.No central air conditioning.Wasted money on certain areas like;a dog park no dog uses, a big fountain that doesn't have water in it with bbq and picnic tables nobody uses, dirty and cracked raquetball court that nobody uses, shuffleboard area filled with sand that serves no purpose.Gone are debit readers and coin usage for the laundry room. You know have to use a 3rd party and your cellphone app to get a machine to start. It's 10 dollars to get started. Same 3rd party company raised prices on washers. $2.25 to start a load. Absolutely ridiculous. Every year there is an increase in rent but there is nothing done to improve the apartments. Barely any incentives. Pool is often closed and the jacuzzi never works. Flooring upgrade is just cement with wallpaper tile. The fact that the "new and improved " chiller system they put in has been broken or not cooling off properly for going on 4 days now is pathetic. Why are you not putting routine maintenance on this every 3 or 4 months? Evaporative coolers do not work well in monsoon season. The design of these apartments were created on the 1970s or so. The units are glorified motel rooms.

I lived at The Agave for 2 years. I don't write many reviews in general, but I felt it was important to share my experiences at The Agave. I strongly advise against renting here. Despite personally participating in the move-out inspection and receiving reassurances about the excellent condition of my unit, the subsequent experience was far from satisfactory. Following nearly a month without receiving my deposit or an itemized deduction sheet detailing the withheld amounts, I had to initiate contact. Moreover, the issued check I received far past the 14-day period, amounted to approximately $100 less than the originally communicated refund. I had never had issues with this in past apartments, so it prompted me to research the matter. According to the Arizona Residential Landlord and Tenant Act (ARS 33-1321), landlords are obligated to return security deposits and provide an itemized list of deductions within 14 business days. Regrettably, The Agave failed to adhere to these stipulations. Despite making numerous attempts to resolve the matter, I encountered consistent disregard and evasiveness. Eventually, I determined that pursuing further action against them was not a worthwhile endeavor. The lack of professionalism displayed by The Agave throughout this ordeal has been deeply disappointing.As many of the reviews have stated, just to name a few of the many issues here, the parking lot is riddled with potholes, the dumpsters consistently overflow, law enforcement frequents the complex, the windows leak during rainfall, there is no in-unit laundry, and the laundry facility itself is plagued with issues. Additionally, the cooling system within your unit is not conventional air conditioning (AC), but rather an evaporative system. Consequently, it struggles to adequately cool your apartment during extreme heat and doesn't remove moisture from the air like refrigeration air conditioning does. During monsoon rains, the interior of your unit becomes excessively humid, with visible water running down the walls at times. I also observed mold beginning to develop in the vicinity of the closet, where the "AC" fan tends to leak. While the complex initially offered reasonable value for the area, recent substantial price hikes have rendered it less attractive compared to superior alternatives available at similar or slightly higher rates within the vicinity. It is in your best interest to avoid choosing this apartment complex as your place to call home.

Dangerous place. Vehicle's keep getting broken into, and management won't hire a security guard. Over 5 times in a year and a half for me personally. Other residents have reported it also. Do not recommend this place.Also pictured is the state of the apartment when I first received the keys. Had to wait for "cleaners" to come and clean before I could move in.

This place is horrible. Should deserve no stars. Move here if you enjoy cold water in showers. The management team is very hostile when it comes to resolving issues. They show a fully upgraded unit at the beginning to suck people in and give them a mediocre at best apartment.
