I could not be a bigger fan of this amazing program. Even though I am a household of one, I am a frequent participant in the produce/food rescue program. They have such a wonderful combination of foods each week. I happily take what I can use and freeze what I can before donating the rest to another local family. Love it!

I heard about Market on the Move a few years back but never really ventured in it. I woke up early one Saturday and decided to try this place out especially because I could get 60lbs of veggies/fruit for $10. I've never really looked back after that first visit. I bring everyone I know to this place and will continue to visit. The people working are amazing, they're helpful and cheery and it helps get you going in the morning. If you ever grab too many fruits or vegetables or sometimes breads just give some to a family member or someone you see on the street. So many people would cherish getting this stuff so if you grab a few more items than your family needs make sure to bring it elsewhere before it spoils. You can even feed some tortoises with this food.I really enjoy this club and am so happy it exists for every family. They do not allow pictures inside but I have described the process below: Saturday 8am-10amThey will list the types of vegetables and fruit you can get on The 3000 Club Facebook Page the day before. Bring in $10 cash and sometimes you may have to wait in the line but otherwise walk in to see the guy with the cash box. He will give you a ticket that you will hand off to the lady at the end of the experience. Next you will grab a box on the right side of the room and put it up on the conveyer belt. You can grab anything you want and the people may tell you "only 1 bag of spinach" or limit your items but that's ok! Finally when you finish down the line just put your box on the cart and hand in your ticket. Now you just need to push your cart to your car and load for foods! It's quick and easy and you have nothing to worry about.

"Market on the Move" is no joke. Four MOM locations in a year, this new spot near Swan and 22nd. St. seems to be the right scaled and costed location to last a while. Good luck and I'll see you every week.

This service is really awesome for anyone in the community that likes veggies specifically although they offer a variety of other products sometimes too! I've heard of MOM for years and always wanted to check it out and just never did. Now with nothing but time on my hands I finally made it a priority to go. The whole set up is simple and very easy but it does get crazy! Go early because the line builds up quickly and I know they have recently implemented a newer system to try and detour the traffic from building up along 22nd. Anyway you snake your way through to the front and a friendly volunteer asks how many portions (?) you would like - it is $10/60lbs of whatever they have. After collecting your money they mark your car and you inch your way to the volunteers that load up your vehicle and you're off! Every week you can check Facebook for a list of what they will be offering so that makes it easy to see if it's something you can use or not. The boxes are pre made so there isn't any 'shopping', you get what you get. On the times I've gone I received all veggies of tomatoes, squash, grapefruits, green beans and then some sage but I have seen them offering milk and cheese sometimes too. It is an amazing deal that gets you A LOT of vegetables, saving them from being wasted, and the money goes towards a non profit that can continue helping those in need. Everyone is really friendly and they work quickly to keep the line moving, so grateful for Market on the Move!

They BLOCK you after giving an honest review on their Facebook page. Not nasty, but HONEST regarding very expired items and half rotten produce. It's like paying them to toss out their own garbage

Very rude volunteers! Twice that I've gone, they tell me not to wait in line, " we're out" when not only have I waited almost 2 hours in line, but so close to the front!! Not worth it!

They rescue produce and sell you 60 lbs for $10. Sometimes it includes other stuff too. They load it into your car.
