Eastbound rest area...Middle of nowhere... Nice rest area, good facilities and lots of pull through spots for big rigs, totally separate parking for small vehicles. Was cold overnight on April first. Noisy from 18 wheelers running overnight (pretty common in these type places) and lots of road noise... very neat the highway..I'd stay here again, no problem...Pickup with 30 foot fifth wheel...

I did an overnight here on the way to California and it was mostly pleasant. Not perfectly level but not far enough that it was uncomfortable. You can't beat the views here sleeping below the beautiful canyon walls that are great at sunset and then great at sunrise.Restrooms were reasonably clean. I felt safe enough sleeping here as I did see some highway patrol pass through.[Review 17494 overall - 81 in Arizona - 1012 of 2022.]

Super impressed with this rest area. Why?1. It's nestled in the middle of a beautiful setting: Texas Canyon is this gorgeous landscape that is dotted with boulders and rock formations2. Air Conditioned restrooms. Hey if you're going in for a sit down, c'mon, wouldn't you rather do it in a climate controlled environment? 3. CLEAN, NON-FOUL smelling restrooms. Who doesn't like not having to deal with smells and sticky floors?Great Job, Arizona!

**not a good stop for dogs-TONS of stickers/sand burrs that were ALL over the place-stuck in dogs paws and had to pull them out! No grass either so they had no choice .

Very safe & amazing views!!! I pulled in right before midnight to catch a few ZZZs. I've actually never napped/slept at a rest stop before. I felt totally comfortable and safe. The bathroom is well lit and clean. I cracked my window a bit and fell asleep to the humming semi trucks on the other side. Woke up at 6:30 am and actually felt pretty refreshed. Got a cinnamon roll and a canned Starbucks drink from the vending machines. Sure beat a $70 motel 6.

Very pretty and nice shaded picnic areas to get out of that hot sun. Vending machines are fully stocked. Bathrooms are what you would expect.

Nice scenery, wide and long truck/RV parking. 3 stars because no real great place for dogs to relax and pee because no grass and a sh@t ton of those evilGoats head stabbing seeds on ground. 5 stars for providing doggy poo bags though. 4 stars for the fact the mens bathrooms were not operational - which didn't mean diddly-squat to me lol but to my guy it was a BIG deal- but we have an RV bathroom so his whining was wasted on me. It was super noisy from trucks with refers going all night and some idiot playing with his air brakes - but I didn't take any stars off for that. Pretty sunrise was nice. Easy access

Stopped here 9 weeks ago during our road trip back home to Atlanta, to use the restroom, stretch our legs and take some pics of the rock formations surrounding Texas Canyon Rest Area. This rest area is on I-10 Eastbound. There were lots of parking available here in the very large parking lot. The men's restroom was nice and clean. This rest area has huge boulder rock formations surrounding it - very picturesque!

The restroom area smells like raw sewage, but the bathrooms are clean with plenty of stalls. They also have soap in ALL of the dispensers. There's a side with longer parking spaces for trucks and cars with trailers. The opposite side has regular spaces for cars and trucks.Next to the building is a picnic area and a lot of natural, large, desert boulders. If you are headed East, it's your last state rest stop for 68 miles, so take advantage of this place. The "scenic" view isn't very scenic because the grass is overgrown.
