Terra Vista 55+ Manufactured Home Community

Our new manager Rockie, has brought intelligence and compassion to our park! We all are put at ease with the new staff and what they are doing for us. An enlarged dog park is coming next year and the park has been cleaned up wonderfully! A fantastic place for we old folks to live within.

I have lived at Terra Vista for over 7 years, I have enjoyed ever minute of it. Yes the park is old but most people living here are all too. Like no matter where you live problems do happen. Like 98% of the people you suck it up and deal with it that's called life. Like I said I have enjoyed living at Terra Vista for the past 7 years so much now I work for the company for the past 3 years. I have no regrets on moving here or working for the company.

I have lived here for 10 years. The first manager was somewhat lackadaisical. She was replaced by Jenny Covey. She was smart, strict and efficient. All residents had to play by the rules.The current manager tells lies when questionned and plays favorites. He reads the meters every month. We have to read our own meters because several of my neighbors were charged exhorbitant fees for electricity which were later overturned.One neighbor constructed a dilapidated shed which made the park look like a dump. Previous management instructed him to remove it, but he didn't. They also put a letter in his file. Rocky claims he was grandfathered in and nothing can be done about it, but we all now you have to read and sign a contract which forbids that activity. In addition, this man also has a large dog whose breed is forbidden in said contract. His yard is full of huge piles of feces that look like a large horse laid them down. The dog barks and whines terribly. The smell is horrific. This man also had a yard full of construction debris for many months but finally has been removed.Another resident is rumored to be sub-leasing his home which is forbidden. Rocky is well aware of this but does nothing.There is trash strewn throughout the neighborhood.The roll-off has been taken away. A company used to sweep the streets once a month but that has stopped. They say it is not in the budget, but they continue to raise the rent every year.The park is going downhill under current management.

So I been living here for almost 5 years. It has some good reviews and some not so good. Some of neighboring are awesome and than there's one that isn't. I live in unit 122 and my fiancee lives I unit 6. This person has made our lives a living hell. Whell she's not drinking she's not so bad. So that's why we want to move from here other than rent going up every year. Don't get .e wrong this place is nice and very clean. Like I said some people are nice. I love the community close to dining, buses, medical and shopping. The new manager Rocky makes it feel like home. Very clean, well maintained . Rocky goes out of his way to help, and answers all questions in a timely manner. I've lived there over ten years. Rocky makes a difference.

Update for you all. Because I went to such extremes exposing my move in experience because nobody would help me, I was served with Terra Vista's lawyer's office ZONA, and I was REQUIRED to sign several documents agreeing to NEVER GO ANYWHERE ON THE PROPERTY FOR AS LONG AS I LIVE, can't talk about it or bring it up. That's right, I moved in, have spent thousands upgrading the mobile but I am not allowed to go to any common area, a lifetime sentence because of my honesty and audacity to reveal the fraudulent contract Terra Vista issued to me. I'm a prisoner in my own home that I own, but rent the space. What would you do? Don't you think the managers should request their lawyer's office to amend the paperwork?
