What a nice surprise! Apparently a favorite of the Food Network, this restaurant was rebuilt after a devastating fire about three years ago. It clearly has not slowed them at all! Bring a modern Mexican vibe the restaurant is open, airy and super clean. A local landmark for over 30 years. We came in on a Tuesday night and they were hopping. They had just seated a group of 28 and explained that we have to wait just a few minutes. No problem, we hit the bar and enjoyed one of their house mosaic margaritas - a nice choice, a little on the sweet side, but very refreshing.Moving onto the food, chips and salsa at this restaurant are not complementary but for a few bucks you get a nice helping and some great salsa. Their guacamole is awesome and everything that we tried is super fresh, super authentic and not Americanized as you might find at many restaurants these days. The food was delicious, fresh, top quality! Very authentic and a great value for the money. Definitely recommend stopping in to Teresa's in your next trip through this area.

Teresa's Mosaic Cafe is one of the gems in Tucson for Mexican food. I have a good friend who is a menudo snob and she will only have it here and one other place. But truly; you cannot go wrong with any - single - item - on the menu! We came for breakfast/brunch with good friends and we'd been coming for years. I'd been out of the Tucson area so had only heard that this spot burned down but then they remade it. I'm so glad they did!!!! Upon walking in you feel such a clean, cool, feel. The hostess was so pleasant and our server so admirable. I took a recommendation from our server on what to eat, and had the Huevos Rancheros. My friend had menudo as did my partner. And he had huevos divorciados also. If you get a large menudo it comes with the pan. They made chorizo special for my other friend and one ordered a bean burro. The tortillas that came with my huevos were SO GOOD. You can tell they're hechos a mano somewhere, maybe in house, cause they're so darn fresh and DELICIOUS. Mmmmmm. I can't say enough about eating breakfast and brunch here. We've primarily enjoyed that here, but again, regardless of what you order, you'll leave more than satisfied and with a happy belly and face.

Before we left Tucson, hubby was on the hunt for a cute place serving delicious huevos rancheros. We were staying in Oro Valley but were headed to the airport. Teresa's Mosaic Cafe came up in our google search. A favorite of the Food Network & Travel Channel. Hubby was all in!Teresa's is open 7 days a week for breakfast, lunch & dinner. Hubby did his thing & ordered the huevos rancheros with house-made chorizo - crispy corn tortillas layered with beans, 2 fried eggs, melted cheddar cheese & Teresa's house-made rancheros red salsa. He also ordered some vinegared veggies - jalapeños, carrots & onions. The corn tortillas are homemade. YUM! It was everything he wanted in the dish.I opted for Oaxacan breakfast: mole enchiladas de huevo - 3 enchiladas filled with scrambled eggs, covered in Mole Negro Oaxaqueño & topped with sesame seeds, served with beans with queso fresco. It was delicious & different. I really loved the red salsa. The Mother was not in the mood for Mexican so she opted for the desayunos americanos #5: 2 eggs served with bacon, home potatoes & toast. Satisfying & a good amount of bacon, potatoes were delicious.Driving by, you can't miss Teresa's Mosaic Cafe! The outside is painted a vibrant turquoise. The indoor decor is charming with colorful mosaics that reflects the Southwest's vibrant culture. Large windows provide stunning views of the surrounding Tucson mountains. The bar is colorful & I'm sure the cocktails are delightful but we were getting on a plane to start a day-long, cross-country trip back to RI.Theresa's Mosaic Cafe is a must-visit if you're in Tucson. It's perfect any time of day, offering something for everyone with its good-sized portions & authentic flavors. Whether you're a local or just passing through, it will leave you with a full stomach & a happy heart.

We came for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. We were sat immediately but we waiting sometime for service and for our food to come out! We had heard a lot of great things about the food but the reviews might have come from pre-Covid service. The food was just average and the cost as a bit on the higher side. The restaurant is very cool, it's in a half circle building and lots of great art. I thought it was great that they make their tortillas fresh.

The food has always been good here, love that they make fresh tortillas both flour and corn in house. The chips and guacamole are fabulous, super thick crunchy chips made from their fresh tortillas, not very salty so you can really taste the flavor of the salsa and chunky guacamole. The mole enchiladas are very good and the shrimp ranchero Veracruz style dish with peppers, onion, tomato and olive and a side of calabacitas was very good.

This was my third or fourth time there any for Some reason I came away a bit disappointed. Food was tasty. Place was clean. Service was friendly, but I thought a bit slow. Presentation was kinda blah. I'll still go back; location is convenient.

I first went to the Mosaic when it was in the strip mall. I love it, the view is amazing the chips and salsa are spot on and they have great guacamole. Literally everything I've had here is amazing. I live for those fresh tortillas handmade right in front of you. I'm a huge fan and you might see me there next week.

Amazing experience was had yesterday. My girlfriend and I came last night on our weekend trip for her birthday. There was a moderate wait. It was Dia de los Muertos and some other patrons had the traditional facing painting and attire which added to the experience. There's a woman making tortillas by hand. So good.

We enjoyed our first time at Teresa's Mosaic Cafe. Super cute place, apparently it was rebuilt after a fire. Staff was very attentive and nice. The food was amazing, some of the best in Tucson. We can't wait to go back and try other dishes.

This is my favorite Mexican restaurant on the westside of town and I am so glad they are back in business. After a big kitchen fire there are back open and very busy! Everyone loves this place. Patrons have been coming here for years. Cute mosaic tables, a bar, and fresh made tortillas made right in front of you! Everything on the menu here is good. From breakfast, to lunch, and dinner. Outstanding food and service. My favorite dishes are the huevos rancheros, the enchiladas, and the chile rellano. Can't go wrong here. The flour tortillas are the best! If it is a Friday night best to try and reserve a table in advance but they do move quickly.
