Tacos y Mariscos Jaliscos

This place is insane! The food knocked my socks off - the Barría is bliss worthy. The chicken taco was delicious and fresh. The red salsa is REALLY spicy, the green is not. I always love a good clean salsa bar. The building had listed seats, my guts says it's probably standing room over during lunch. The lady behind the cash register was not friendly one bit. She made us feel dumb for being in there.

Came for taco Tuesday and this place was Packed! They were out of Cabeza which is what I came for. At $1.99 each I got one tripa (fried tripe) two adobe tacos. Tripe was unsalted but was high quality and very tasty with salt and lime. The adobe or marinated pork left much to be desired. It was cold and I'm not sure if it's bc I asked for 1 tortilla instead of 2 but it had substantially less meat than the tacos my friends got. I also tried the carne asada from my friend which was seasoned and flavorful but it was sooo dry. A friend ordered rice and beans for $3 each. Beans were awesome and I got some to go. Rice left much to be desired. Under seasoned and flavored.

Delicious! Cozy place with great food! Salsa bar with salsas, toppings, and my favorite - spicy carrots! Pictured are the tacos but we've also tried the quesabirria, which was delicious and a generous portion. 5 !

I went here for taco Tuesday and it was amazing! You can't beat the price of $1.99 per taco. I got a grilled fish taco, fried fish taco, asada taco, and chips with guacamole and they were delicious. There's a great little topping cart. The service was really fast. The interior is a bit small and plain.

Large menu options. May have to try other things. Walk up and orderPlastic utensils etc. Had the shrimp soup. Lots of shrimp. Broth was a tomato vegetable base. Add some rice and onions. I was not enjoying it. Struggled. Added salt etc. Small place. I might have needed to order something different. Not a fan when I sit down and use plastic utensils...etc.

Great food, Super friendly service. Thank you fellow Yelper :) for a recommendation. I won't find this place without prior reviews. Outside looks good, cozy decorating + pretty bright parking lot with some outdoor seating.There are about10 tables inside the dining room.Berria is a must try.

I had ordered queso birria tacos and this is how they came lol idk if that's how tacos are made now but wasn't to happy about that... also the lady at the front when I was ordering, didn't get all the orders of my details to my burrito order so it didn't come out as good as I thought it would be. On top of that the food is way overpriced for the low quality taste of food paid $15 for three flat tacos with no rice and beans.‍ Mexican places in Tucson have to be a joke.

Today was my 2nd visit to Tacos y Mariscos Jaliscos and I will say this place is a solid 5 stars. My first trip I had the quesabirria tacos and they were fantastic. Today I had two tacos: adobada and battered, fried fish. Both were excellent! The restaurant is small and you order at the counter and they bring your food to the table (real plates - not plastic or styrofoam). We were there celebrating a coworker's birthday and everyone was quite happy with their selections. There is a salsa bar so you can help yourself to some condiments. Bonus is that the staff is super nice as well.Pro tip: order the pink horchata. It's surprisingly delicious!
