The menu board is overwhelming. I had no idea what I was ordering. When I'm doubt, I go with the Sonoran dog. Cop out, I know.

1. MEAT! Not diced little gristly pieces the size of fingernails. Tough as leather! 2. Was that PLASTIC cheese! Tasteless gray goooo all over everything. 4. CANNED green chile. I literally ate about 4 bites off each taco, then tossed the meal in the garbage- I'm not even taking it home to my dog. Please use FRESH Chile. PLEASE use meat with taste, that's suitable to eat, , without gristle in every bite

Not the best experience. Have visited this location multiple times. I got a pastor burrito, side of beans, and 3 rib tacos to go. All a greasy mess. Mear overcooked and tasted old.. Beans tasted sour, I took one bite and done. All meat overcooked. Service was good. Place was empty. Salsa bar could have been serviced. I had to request onions/cilantro.

The menu at this restaurant is on a tv and it's pretty overwhelming. I recommend looking on the wall beside the tvs, there is a clearer menu there. The food is pretty average like any other Mexican restaurant. The cost was a little on the high end. The place looks like it needs a major overhauled renovation and a deep clean. The walls and floor are pretty grimy; the floors still have social distancing stickers on the ground in 2024 that are very dirty.

Food was alright. Service was subpar. In fact, they acted as though they didn't give a rat's rear if we got good service or not. If the staff isn't welcoming, I'm going to have a hard time liking a restaurant or returning to it. We won't return.

I had heard great things about Tacos Apson on the Southside and it was on my list to try, but one day while driving in Oro Valley, I seen they had a location on the Northside as well. When I seen the reviews as a 3 star on Yelp, I hesitated but decided to give them a try, and I am really glad I did. I am confused on why they are only rated a 3 star, as my family and I really enjoyed it! Now, is it the fanciest place ever? No... But those are usually the best places. Our service was friendly and fast, and the food was hot, fresh and delicious! The carne asada was juicy and flavorful, the cheese so super melty, carnitas was so flavorful and my Sonoran dog was incredible! Definitely a great spot in my opinion!

We ended up at Apson Tacos as Humo Cocina was crowded with. 30-minute wait. We should have waited as Apson tacos was a disappointment. The tacos were just plain chunks of meat with no real garnish or flavor balance. The menu was extremely limited, offering little variety or creativity. If you're looking for well-crafted tacos, this isn't the place.
