Taco Taste

This is not a place to get good food. But it is one of the better establishments in the town (which doesn't say much). I would rather eat her than at the taco bell. Don't let my review stop you from eating her though, I know several people that actually enjoy their food; maybe its just me or I have a higher standard for the food that I eat.

If you're looking for authentic Mexican food, this ain't the place. However, it has very good gringo-Mex food. The tortillas are locally produced Mi Casa, superior to anything else produced for retail. One of the unique menu items is the taco burger, which is similar to Maid-Rite sandwiches from the mid-west.

I do not recommend this restaurant. The food was disgusting. We ordered a "Baby Cheese Fold" cheese quesadilla which was cooked on a griddle that was so greasy from cooking ground beef or something the one side of the quesadilla that was cooked had burnt food chunks and tastes like burnt oil. My 5 year old wouldn't eat it. We also order a soft taco which had a moldy spot on it. Needless to say this was our first and last trip to Taco Taste.

Sure, this place is a staple in the community. I get that. But the food is not all that good. Anything I ever had there I did not like it. It's better then Taco Bell though so I am giving it 2 stars.

Ordered 2 Burrito Supreme' s... They were the WORST burritos we've ever eaten from a restaurant. Very small generic burritos, not much for Filling ingredients. From the greasy hamburger meat to the mushy lettuce. The tortilla shell was cold and very doughy. We paid $12.00 for 2 Burritos and felt ripped off, unfortunately we went through the drive up on the way out of town or I would have complained. I believe in supporting small businesses, but this taco shop won't be getting a return visit from us.

The chimichanga and taco salad are my favorite here!! The tortillas are fresh and I've loved everything I've tried. Great spot to eat in the gila valley!

I love taco taste! I always get the nachos and tostadas. They have a great kids selection. Also their sodas taste so good! Maybe the crushed ice? They are very friendly as well.

I love this place I would go everyday if I could. chicken tenders and fry's are good. the bean and cheese burro is the best. and always get chips and hot sauce is the best.
