Taco Giro is one of the places we look forward to coming to when we're in Tucson!The food is something we can't get in Mesa!Service is great when we got there but it did take a little while to get the check when we were ready to leave.But Right when we walked in we were seated and the chips great salsa and beans were brought right out to us very quickly.We ordered the #1 and bacon wrapped shrimp with rice and beans.I have to say the shrimp plate is our favorite!!The drinks are great here too!Highly recommend this restaurant!

Out Harley riding and had a need for good Mexican. Caught sight of this place out the corner of my eye. Spun around to check it out and was sure glad i did. Still one of those Mexican restaurants that throws down a free basket of chips & salsa wen U sit down. Staff was friendly & attentive. I ordered something i had never tried b4 Molcajete Mixtas with rice & beans & corn tortillas. It came in a big stone bowl with shrimp, steak, chicken, cheese, cactus draped over the sides. So much food i had to take some to go. Absolutely delicious. I will definitely return.

Here we are once again, I visited this place to try the menudo (Sunday special)...what a disappointment! The service sucked from the get-go, the host skipped my party. It took for the customer to stop her and tell her they were here before us...she gave it a few thoughts and eventually called us over. We sat down and once the waitress came over to take our drinks...I did notice that she clarified-it's cucumber lemonade. The order was simple 3 menudos, red and one extra bread.....................................37 minutes later. Here comes a girl with 3 over filled, disproportionate plates and two large plates with like 16 pieces of bread. One had lots of caldo, the other had some menudo with some grano and the other had half a cow in it with a very large pata. The onion and cilantro were not fresh at all and the limes were hard and with brown spots. The chiltepin never arrived but it was offered (we got Cheyenne pepper powder instead)The waitress must of forgotten we were still here because she wasn't seen until after we asked a busboy for our bill.I continue unimpressed with this location, the new metal cups are a good idea but need to be washed better (they smell like seafood) and they have to put a vent in the rest room...the urine smell is just overwhelming. Not sure if I will return to this location while visiting this town again. It's a shame because the setbacks are fixable but they need to focus on them.

Here we go again, I'm starting to think my expectations are just to high. The positive is they carry coke products and also have the Mexican Coke bottle. I really was hoping this place would be good especially with all the high reviews. First impression, typical Mexican place. The restrooms are dark but fairly clean. The food was honestly mediocre. The green chili meat tasted as if it were canned pork meat. The rice and beanWere just ok nothing to brag about. The torta while big was too messy to eat and not enough flavor. The shrimp were over cooked, and left little to be desired. I will not be back to this place as it really wasn't tasty. Super disappointed

Food was great, service was good, my only complain was soda was $5! We were a party 4 and paid $20 in four sodas! We can go on to a lot of restaurants and that's the most we have paid for sodas!

Absolutely incredible Mexican food. The breakfasts are awesome, taste just like a home cooked meal and the service is excellent. The next time I return to Tucson I will make sure to dine there again.

It's been a while since we've stopped by Taco Giro and we were not disappointed! The Cotel Maleficio was delicious, the juice was very flavorful, a bit spicy so be aware if you're not comfortable with spice. I love that the menu has great pictures of the items too! Would definitely come back.
