Sushi Zona

Came on a Wednesday night and it was dead. The service and food were really quick! Sushi came so fast and it was delicious It's a little hole in the wall in this nice shopping center/plaza but definitely worth checking out!

I decided on sushi for lunch. Was in a different part of town so I Yelp'ed it. This place popped up with good reviews.I ordered the deluxe Bento box. The tempura was hot and crisp. The soup was great too. The sushi and sashimi was so fresh. This may be the best fish I've had in Tucson.The service was quick and responsive. Took my order quickly and food arrived quickly too. They dropped off my check before I was finished so I didn't have to flag them down later.When I am back in this part of town, I will definitely be back. You should try it too.

I was in the area and decided to drop by for some quick lunch here. It's a casual and clean restaurant and the staff were all very welcoming and friendly. The restaurant was a little warm inside but it was tolerable. Our server was good and our food was prepared quickly. I thought the food tasted fresh and was really good. I really enjoyed the miso soup to start with. They have some unique specialty rolls and they also have toro which I found out is tuna fat and I am told it's really good. I will have to try that next time. One roll was a little too smoky for me but my husband loved it. My rolls were great and overall it was a good experience. Definitely a spot I would come to again.

We got there at open so was seated immediately. Service was attentive and pleasant, so high marks there. Ambiance is that of any high traffic sushi place as not much, but it was clean. Started with two appetizers. The tempura as done right and hit the spot. The heartattack was a really undercooked jalepeno hardly stuff with ingredients. It wasn't spicey, but all you could taste was raw pepper. The sushi was alright, the rice did not taste fresh like it was dried out, so I guess it may have not just been made but last nights batch. It was alright, and if you're in the area and need sushi then it's alright.

First time here. Food was excellent. So many options, I'll be coming back to try a different dish. Restaurant was clean and inviting. Service was very good and wait staff were attentive and kind.

Salmon and Tuna Sushimi, and the Special Ninja roll. Curry Udon is quite flavorful with spicy both, and udon Curry Udon is packed with spicy curry , vegetables, and large udon noodles . The sashimi is about average slices, however have fresh Salmon and Tuna flavors. The colors are bold too. You have The Heart Attack can sneak up on you at time. Stuffed with cream cheese and fried in tempora. Can't go work her, the service can get a bit overwhelmed at times, but the food is worth the wait. Great place to e to relax , sit back and enjoy tge awesome sushi. My phone app doesn't seem to allow me to view my typing, so I'll edit it later when II'm on my PC

Avocado Roll: good, fulfills the cravingSeaweed salad: good but small for the priceUme Shisho Roll: didn't likeCroquettes: ok, not worth getting again (the sauce was an odd flavor combo of ketchup & bbq)Mix Veggie Roll: didn't like (has pickled veg)Miso soup: they threw in a free bowl of miso soup and it was fine, nothing specialYaki udon: meh, wouldn't get it again, and they shouldn't put in the shredded pink pickled ginger as it has a harsh flavorYaki soba: terrible

Wed 8/7 First time n sorry to say the last.. yes as reviews say, small clean good service BUT!! Where's the fish??I've eaten sushi all around country east to west north to south never saw such teeny weeny paper thin slices with a small marble size bit of wasabi not even Tblspn of rice.. and few slices of ginger.. there was a sign stating ".25 for more ginger" Yes a 1/2 bowl of tasteless Miso soup for free haI was honestly ready to eat n spend $ but couldn't justify spending n not getting a fair meal.. my friend and I looked at each other and laughed The tiny soft shell crab was mostly fried batter Nothing special or memorable aboutthe place... I'm shocked by all the rave reviews... CAUTION..‍‍

Quick sushi spot close to home! Some rolls smaller than usual but great place :) wish they had happy hour
