Spicy wings on appetizer menu were great! I went with Las Vegas roll but HARD PASS. It was tasty however EXTREMELY greasy. I realized that the roll once wrapped in seaweed is deep fried. Then it's covered in rice and deep fried again. The rice sucks up the oil between layers of frying. The salmon was very fresh and delicious. I would come back and try something new.

Sushi Garden is one of my top picks for Japanese fare in Tucson. They're consistent and they make things that aren't available at other places, namely their special rolls like Sunset Roll which is a rice free roll with spicy tuna, crab, tuna, avocado wrapped in soy paper. The Bulgogi rice bowl is tender and delicious as well with caramelized onions. Sake Bombs $11, yes please. Curbside pickup if you aren't feeling peopley.Comfortable half booths and tables as well as a huge sushi bar to sit at. Please don't change a thing!

My friends and I met here for lunch and had a great time. We tried the tuna rolls, Albuquerque rolls, 3 types of nigiri sushi and the teriyaki chicken plate. Everything tasted great and we all had a great time! Everyone had a beer, wine or cocktail as well. I had a Monkey Brain Freeze which was delicious!

This used to be one of my favorite places to gather with friends. Unfortunately the service and food are not the same as it used to be. The portions are descent, food tasted ok. But Definitely not a place I would frequent. You also feel rushed being there..

It had been a long time since I had visited Sushi Garden so it was nice to pay them a visit. It was perfect timing as it was busy, but not too loud. My husband and I got the USA Combo for two which was a great deal! It came with four rolls and an appetizer. All the rolls were delicious and we had edamame as our app. Our server/waiter were very attentive and did a great job of making sure we were content. My only complaint was that I was not a fan of my cocktail, but that was just personal preference.

not sure why it's under 3 stars! if anything Ra sushi should be and it's the worst i had in town with higher ratings than Sushi Garden??! Sushi Garden is a classic with one of the best specialty rolls menu I have come across including the Fat Boy Roll & the Fire Cracker Roll. Their Spicy Udon Soup is a must to add to any roll combination and I'm not even in to soups like that. This place is great & it needs more love than it's getting. 5 Stars

Sushi garden is the type of place that you go to when you want decent sushi without the extra hype. Sure there are a lot of places in Tucson that offer a more premium ambiance but if you're looking to get in and out pretty fast and still have good food, this is your spot. The Spanish roll is my go-to. The hints of citrus, tajin, fresh cilantro and jalapeño slices make this roll an excellent option when you're craving something refreshing with some zing. It resembles the taste of a fresh ceviche with a hint of Asian fusion. I've been to several sushi spots in town but this roll is unique to SG and the reason I return often. As far as the ambiance goes, it's not a fancy place but for the food quality, price, and service, it's a good choice. I'm giving it 3 stars because it's good not great and the silverware and glassware could definitely use an upgrade. I typically clean off the water spots on my utensils when I'm here which isn't something a guest should have to do each time they visit. Also the service varies on the day and time of day. I can't say I've ever had a bad experience with the staff but nothing memorably good in terms of hospitality. The food typically comes out in stages which is normal for a sushi restaurant so I appreciate that it gets the food to the table much faster especially when you're with a large party. If they were to upgrade their dish-ware, revamp the look and feel of the interior, offer some new rolls every season to change it up, and train the staff to be a little more attentive, I'd give them a 4.

No military discount is a huge disappointment. Male waiter made a stank face while someone was trying to order a role.

Food was terrible. Calamari wasn't even cooked. Everything tasted bad. Biggest positive was the nice waitress and friendly environment but the food itself left a lot to be desired.

The sushi here is overpriced in comparison to other sushi spots. The miso soup was $5 when at other places it's free. If you want some siracha it is over $1 for a small portion. The sushi was good but probably won't go back.
