This is a hidden gem of place - get it? I would never have known about this shop unless I knew ahead of time that this dirt driveway had a unique curio shop at the end. If you are looking for a specific rock, gem, fossil, or rusty hiking relic then you will find it here. The owner is full of knowledge and even if you don't buy anything stop by and say hi because you will meet a unique fellow running this place.

Stopped here on the way to Bisbee looking for gems, minerals, and rocks. This is just south of Benson on the west side of the highway. Rolf is the owner and is a great host! His eyes light up when he's talking about gems and telling his stories. Most of what is here is what he and his wife have found over the past 50 years or so. He's glad to demonstrate different properties and characteristics of the stock he has and will take you out back for a tour of his "$10 per pound" collection!! Very cool place, have to stop here!!

Excellent stop. Very educational, great samples. Kids loved it! Rolf took time to show his macro photography set up and gave us tips to set up our own.

Rolf is one of the best sources of information on geology, rockhounding, and all things SE Arizona. I always stop by the store when I'm in the area to chat with Rolf and pick up a new beautiful specimen.
