Sunny Side Up Cafe

This small cheerful Mexican restaurant has decent fare. I came here for dinner and it had quite a crowd. The service was good for a pleasant dining experience.

Never been here before but have heard A TON about this place... a coworker of mine worked here many years ago.... So while on my mini staycation on that side of town, we stopped in. The place is VERY CUTE and although I didn't actually walk around - it seems there are 2 separate rooms for meetings or large get togethers. Counter that seats maybe 10.No booths/ just tables. I get it, booths are pricey to keep up. We were sat right away, our wonderful server, Beth, took great care of us. Food is typical. Nothing crazy.... But all delicious.If we are ever that way, we'd eat here again. P.S. I love reading other reviews before I actually post mine- just incase I forgot something....to the lady who stared at her waffle in the window for 20 minutes... Really? 20 minutes... do you know how long 20 minutes is? Get outta here over exaggerator. Ha! P.S.S. - not related but I NEEDED to know what use to be in the empty lot next door; Quik Mart. Ha.

This is a cute little restaurant that serves breakfast all day. I had the chicken fried steak with an over easy egg and hash browns. The food was good they were fast and timely the only thing that I would say is the hash browns needed to be cooked a little bit longer.

Place was clean , great place to have a coffee , service was great thanks to Beth she was amazing, my only issue was the food it was just okay for the pricing. Definitely going back hopefully I can up my stars on something new still enjoyed and if your passing by stop in

We enjoyed our breakfast here. They have a nice menu with breakfast and lunch items, reasonable prices, quick and friendly service. I got the chicken fried steak with eggs. The steak was very tender and a crispy coating. It came with a large portion of hash browns, two eggs, and toast. Our server was very efficient and we got our food quickly.

Nice little mom pop restaurant great food great people very attentive always pack but always good. Never had a bad plate Crystal great waitress very funny. Speaks Spanish on occasion or she tries to. Anyway I go every day. If I could check out the specials on the board before you order

Why is this place busy? Been here twice and I make better breakfast in my sleep at home. The bread is like the dollar store, pancakes are better if I made them from a box and that's pretty bad. I even went twice to be sure and years apart and yuck

Highly recommend! Our server, Celeste was so friendly- "over the top" wonderful! Great place!

Food is always consistent, hot and good. Servers are amazing, quick, attentive and friendly. A great breakfast/lunch spot in Catalina, AZ.
