Sun Control Retractable Shades

FANTASTIC service and product! SW Sun Control installed a 12-ft auto-retractable shade with a fitted cover on the side edge of our patio in early July, and the process was perfect start to finish. JD gave us a quick, accurate bid, with no hidden charges, and he did an excellent job of helping us select fabric/housing colors (which complement our stucco even better than we expected from viewing the swatches). The crew came on schedule, and installation was seamless. We waited several months to write this review, to see how the unit would perform over time, and we're happy to report that it's all working beautifully -- the solar-powered motor functions exactly as designed, the remote is strong enough to use indoors or out (even wall-mounted vertically inside the house), and the shade rolls up incredibly smoothly, with no telescoping or other issues. We absolutely love the product, and it's installed in a location that gives us shade not only on our patio but also at our indoor dining table, which is an excellent bonus. The fabric is great too, allowing the right amount of light and air flow. So happy we chose SW Sun Control, and we highly recommend the whole team!

AWESOME WARRANTY & FANTASTIC SERVICE: Jesse and Jorge came by the house to do a simple check on the valence. While doing a thorough check of the electrical wiring, Jesse and Jorge discovered that the bolts on the awning was coming loose. They immediately set to work to fix the awning - adding in longer bolts to make sure it won't happen again. They also managed to identify the initial problem, which was connected to the awning issue. All throughout the repairs, Jesse and Jorge were very communicative, which we appreciate very much. They were also very thoughtful and polite. They fixed the problem very quickly and gave us a quick summary of the repairs they did. Overall, we were very pleased with Jesse and Jorge! I am looking forward to continue working with the folks at Sun Control!

I would like to provide a follow up. SW Sun Control reached back out and personally came back to our property to assess what could be occurring. SW Sun Control was able to identify an issue that was causing the problem and corrected under their warranty service. I feel once this got to the right people, they provided the correct amount of attention and made good on their word.They experienced some unfortunate issues that happened to occur with me which was probably odd that they all occurred with the same customer. Long story short, they figured it out and they work as intended.

Purchased and had installed a large retractable awning for a senior lady friend. Scheduling took well over a month and when installed, the awning appeared not to work. The installer apparently was a third party who made clear he was not to be called Re: problems and insured this be not taking my calls. II contacted the Dealer who also was not helpful. My own troubleshooting determined installer had spliced into power downstream from an outdoor light switch, meaning the awning had no power unless the outdoor spotlight was on. This short cut was bush league: one doesn't need an awning in the night and one doesn't have a spotlight on during the day. After more than a week of back and forth, during which the Company's salesman claimed I had "opted for" this nonsensical wiring, they simply refused to fix the problem. I am having a third party electrician rewiring the awning and deducting his fee from the final payment. Overall, this is the worst customer experience I've had in Tucson.

Terrible customer service. Better products out there for less money. current/new dealers and customers run away as fast as you can!

The installers were so nice, neat, freindly and explained everything. I did run into an operating glitch, but the customer service is over-the-top-incredible. They came out several times and ultimately made certain everyting was exactly right. I highy recoment this company for their customer care.

We had a wonderful experience with Sun control retractable shades of Tucson, from Darin their sales representative to their installers, knowledgeable, professional, honest, and on time, Darin was patient with no high pressure, he made several trips to our home to make sure he had answered all our questions, a fantastic product. It's everything they said it would be much more. We are thrilled with this retractable shade company.

We had a shade installed on our patio. JD was wonderful. Also, the installation team went above and beyond! They even found the touch up paint in my garage! They were very professional and friendly! We are so pleased with the entire experience.

Great sales person JD. crew assembling great and efficient. Came back for adjustment and said they would replace track or anything we needed. I guess when you spend over 10k, you do get customer service. Very happy with screens. We added one more great room screen to protect window from hard water due to the misters on patio. Very happy with everything.

Four years ago we had Sun Control install a motorized screen on our patio. We have enjoyed the shade it provides ever since. Last week a part of the screening material came loose from the guide. I called Sun Control and made an appointment for them to come out and repair it. Yesterday two technicians came to our home and repaired it in a few minutes. No charge. We had a very good product installed by competent technicians four years ago. It was repaired as part of a great warranty.A very good company we heartily recommend without reservation.
