After having racked brains out spending an entire full day looking for older style true clay paver bricks, I finally found my go-to dealer. They had a great selection of these tough to find items. The knowledge and service they provided me was top-notch. A super retailer. Visit with confidence. Super nice guys to boot! Without a doubt, will use them only any future projects that require additional pavers.

Large on-site selection of brick products that were well organized and easy to view. Very helpful and pleasant staff! Purchased the perfect choice for my walkway job!! Not installed yet so no photos!

Like the first reviewer I was looking for 4x8x1 1/2" brick pavers. They do indeed carry this size (only place I could find in Tucson) and in a number of colors. Apparently the rude folks mentioned in that review have moved on, the staff were very helpful and courteous.

My first 4 interactions with this company have been disappointing. Phone call #1 - I ask if they carry 4x8x1 1/2" brick pavers - guy on phone is super rude and short with me and hangs up without warning.Phone call #2 - I call again because Central Arizona Block Company assures me that Phoenix Brickyard does, in fact, carry the bricks I need, and that he's unsure why they told me they don't. This time the guy says they do carry them, but is equally rude and has no explanation as to why he said otherwise on the previous call.Visit #1 - Went to the store on a Tuesday afternoon to buy a first carload of bricks. The 60-something man hardly made eye contact, made no effort to help me find matching bricks, and did not talk at all during the transaction.Visit #2 - Went to the store on a Wednesday afternoon and a different 60-something man was (astoundingly) equally rude. WHAT! He acted like I interrupted a nap. not helpful, not kind, not willing to talk about anything. I asked if the price of bricks changes at all with quantity purchased, and all he could muster was "nope."Not sure if they are rude to everyone, or women in particular, or younger people, but it's obnoxious. Customer service, anyone? Holy smokes. On the up-side, the guy who actually does the hard work and helps load the material is SUPER friendly and patient. I feel bad that he has to work for a bunch of dicks.

I came to Phoenix brick yard after I went to another brick company at I10 and miracle mile and had a bad experience. I needed to make a large brick order for a major construction project and I was in the other brick company when the entire sales staff saw an ice cream truck and ran outside, leaving me alone in the showroom. 10 minutes later they all came back in with ice cream cones. I could not believe this happened. The staff at Phoenix brick yard are much more professional.
