Sue's Fish & Chips

I can't say enough great things about Sue's Fish and Chips! Hands down, the best fish and chips I've ever had in Tucson. The fish was perfectly crispy on the outside, flaky and tender on the inside, and the chips were cooked to perfection. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The portions were generous, and the service was friendly and welcoming. They even have their own special sauce, which takes the meal to a whole new level! This place is a true gem, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic fish and chips experience. Don't miss out on this amazing spot!

The only way I would rate this place 5 stars is if they bring back their original sauce. Still my go-to joint when it comes to fish and chips (best in town), but since they changed the recipe on the sauce, they deserve 4.5 stars. I'll bump up my rating once they switch back to the tomatoes they used to use, the new sauce is okay, but I think the previous recipe was better imo. Maybe sell both sauces?

Seventy two years and counting. serving fried seafood for 3/4 of a century. There has to be a reason, yes there should be, dedication to quality food and service, not. Something was wrong tonight fried mushrooms were still frozen and the cheap frozen. French fries were cold raw just undercooked they need to not be in such a rush. I suggest they try the food themselves and see how horrible the french fries really are. A place like they should be using fresh potatoes. If five guys could do it on the national level come on why can't they?

Excellent fast service and food it definitely good. This is a legendary place in South Tucson

Tucson local favorite. The prices are affordable and the food is delicious. I travel the country and this is as good or better than any coastal community. Highly recommend.

Came in 10 minutes before closing tonight and was greeted by two of the coolest kids around. Ordered a combo for my husband and I to share and the sweet gal suggested we split the order so we could have our own plate. This was the best fish, crab cakes and shrimp I have had in years. Crispy and perfectly seasoned our meal was a delight. Thanks to this fine establishment we were full and happy. Try Sue's you won't regret it. Those two employees are a great example of how to treat customers and represent your business with kindness and professionalism. Fantastic people!!!

Sorry. Walked in and saw a big sign. no Bathroom. It did not look really clean. Made me nervous enough to leave. Never done that before. Can't star but 1 star would be all

I visited the evening of December 16, 2024. I ordered two pieces of fish and fries. The fish had more breading than actual fish because the fish is very thinly sliced. The french fries were soft and not crispy at all, perhaps because they are the very ordinary krinkle-cut style. I definitely am not returning.

Sue's Fish and Chips is a gem in South Tucson. Had lunch there today and to my surprise the food was part excellence! Definitely a must try.

This place is so good!! Had me licking my fingers!!! It's a small hole in the wall restaurant so you know it's good. Food is amazing, definitely recommend
