Strauss ECE and Kindergarten

Strauss is wonderful. Both our kids have had great experiences there. Every teacher they have have been amazing. We started our older kid out at a different preschool before the pandemic and Strauss is a million times better than the other place she went.

I cannot speak highly enough about Everyone at Strauss. Deciding to switch our daughter to daycare was a big one but she has learned so much and been treated with so much love. I believe this is the best place in town! You will not be disappointed sending your child here!

I highly recommend Strauss ECE. They provide exceptional quality care and attention for your child. Great teachers and very helpful administrative staff. My son attended from 8 weeks old until the Pre-K and quality of care did not decline.

I agree with the earlier reviewer that Strauss is probably the best day care/preschool in town. Pros: - Tremendously loving teachers. Our teacher (Carina) attended kids' birthday parties on the weekends for HOURS just because she loved seeing the kids. Amazing. Our other teacher (Rylee) was also fabulous. She was studying to enter medical school. So much hugging and comforting, so wonderful. - Long hours: 7am-6pm- Take all ages of kids, from 6 weeks to 6 years. If you have more than one kid, this is a lifesaver. - Administrators want to make parents' lives easier, and man, it makes a difference. Examples: * Accept credit cards and have an autopay option * Each month they email you a receipt, making it easy to file your FSA claims online without having to collect and scan a bunch of paperwork * Key fob entrance so you're don't have to struggle with a door code or key while holding children * Lightning fast response to email inquiries even after hours * Phone answering machine tells you the extension to call your kids' classroom directly * School provides snacks so you don't have to drop off like eighteen different containers of food each day. Your only responsibility is lunch. * Very few requests or demands of parents generallyCons:- Price. They are pricey. However, you do get what you pay for here.- I would like to see them go with organic, whole-food snacks and all-natural, phthalate-free cleaning products. - I would love more pets, plants or other natural items at the school- It would be nice to have a larger playground and more outdoor time. Sometimes the outdoor time seemed limited. And they certainly have the space in their massive parking lot to substantially expand the playground. They could have a playground to rival the one at Second Street School.All in all, doing a fantastic job!

This school is fantastic. My son has been attending for 2 years and I cannot say enough good things about their programs and teachers. I wholeheartedly recommend this school to anyone that will listen.
