As first time buyers Michelle Knight with Stratton group was a pleasure to work with. We were under a strict timeline in order to attempt qualifying for the Pathway to Purchase Program down payment program and she was patient and understanding with all our crazy and anxiety throughout it all. Michelle was easy to coordinate showings with. She never said no to showing us a home. We looked at 3-4 homes at a time and she was always able to accommodate us, often with short notice.In one instance we had to get an offer in on a home at 9pm on a Sunday due to the home getting multiple offers. She was there for us over the phone without hesitation. She never ignored a text, email, or call. I was always able to get in touch with her, even after the closing of our home. Stratton group and Michelle also agreed to help pay part of the buyout fee for breaking our lease, a huge financial relief. We highly recommend Michelle and the Stratton Group.

When my husband and I purchased our first home (Richmond American new construction), we knew we needed a way to get out of our long rental lease. Thankfully, Richmond American partnered with the Stratton Group to help us break our lease early and get into our new home without losing thousands of dollars in rent. We worked with Rich and Jon and they were awesome. Rich and Jon liased with our landlord to get us out of the lease, which was great since all we had to do was provide notice. In the weeks leading up to our move-out date, Jon called every week just to check in, provide updates, and see if we had any questions. Even though our landlord refused to market the rental property until after we moved out, Rich and Jon spread the word in their office and found other Stratton clients looking for a rental. Thanks to their networking, those clients decided to take our rental. Score!Even if that scenario didn't work out, my husband and I were confident in Stratton's ability to market and get new tenants quickly. Plus, we had the reassurance that Stratton would cover 2.5 months of our rent in case no one had taken the rental yet. Rich also came to our building progress meetings with our Super at the new house. It was nice to have an extra set of eyes and have some additional representation. Reid Holcomb was my agent on a larger Apartment Complex purchase in Texas. He was very professional and was able to show me off market properties before they were listed to give me an advantage in finding a property to purchase. Our experience with the Stratton group was very good. We tried FSBO for a while and it was luke warm. We signed with Stratton through Rich Jacome. 3 weeks in we had an offer $5000 less than asking. We were already asking $25000 more than the closest Comp, but we had put a lot of money into the property. We accepted the offer and closed about 6 weeks later. I would have given the group 5 stars, but I found myself calling for information that I thought should have already been passed on to us. Also, I ended up getting a message machine more often than a live person. They did work hard for us and I would use them again if the need arises.

I had the displeasure of trying to work with Marcy Salazar. She is the most unprofessional licensee I've ever encountered. Rude, unresponsive, and just generally unpleasant to deal with. Blew a great deal for her clients which was actually going to be very unprofitable for me as a seller. If you want to buy a home using a buyer's agent, find another one

Very unpleasant experience. Our rental has gone up for sale but with 8 MONTHS remaining on our lease. We attempted to purchase the home but cancelled the contract after several reasons but we did not appreciate Marcy thinking she would trick us into going unrepresented. We agreed to an open house after many harassing calls/texts and our camera caught the realtor holding the open house moving the temp on our AC. Is there a reason why you have to have the home freezing cold? Those are our utilitie$. After 2 open houses we've been harassed into private showings even though we have months left on our agreement. Most traditional lenders won't continue with financing if you can't move in within 60 days so what's the rush? The team sees two young women and assume they can test the law and legal agreements but we have lawyers.
