Stillwater Catering

I hired Roxanne/Stillwater Catering to cook onsite at my house for a 2nd wedding reception (1st reception was out of state). Roxanne was so easy to work with to create the perfect passed appetizers, dinner and dessert for our event. She arrived with one other lady about 5 hrs prior to event time, and once she started cooking, the house smelled amazing (prime rib)! From the appetizers to the main course, the food was absolutely delicious. It's a scary thing hiring someone that you have not used before, as you don't want to find out at your wedding reception, that the chef wasn't that great. It's been 2 weeks since Roxanne and her team catered my reception, and I still hear today how wonderful the food was and how nice and accommodating all the staff was (4 more ladies showed up later). Staff was amazing and super sweet, but honestly...the food...all the food was so delicious; I couldn't be happier. The prime rib was the best I have ever had! I can't recommend Roxanne enough, and I will definitely use her for any future events I have.

I have had the pleasure of enjoying her mouthwatering meals on more than a handful of occasions now, but most recently I had appetizers and dinner prepared by Roxanne of Stillwater Catering this past Friday. As always it was flavorful and delicious! Previous events have included breakfasts, lunches, appetizers, dinners, pies, cookies, cakes, other treats & desserts and things I can't even remember. It's all been handcrafted and ALL made and from SCRATCH with fresh ingredients, intention, creativity, and the purest love put in every dish!!! I've never seen someone really enjoy preparing every single part of your meal as much as she does!! Even the way she sets up the atmosphere, it's not just a meal, it's an experience! (Wishing I had taken pictures but was so in the moment I forgot!!) From the simplest of things, to things I've never seen or heard of... It's ALL amazing! With that being said, I admit I am also the pickiest of eaters and I dislike most everything!! (not proud of that) but she has been great about it and making amazing dishes for us all but including small altered versions of it for just me! But seeing how much she puts into it all, I've even branched out and tried new things with her and somehow she makes everything I usually don't like taste good to me too. I already can't wait until the next time! I'm not quite done-- it gets better! Beyond her delicious food, Roxanne herself is the sweetest and kindest person you'll encounter!! In life, but also especially the service industry! I HIGHLY recommend Roxanne! You'll be so glad you've chosen her for your taste of heaven on a plate for any and all your events. Stillwater Catering is beyond sensational!! Roxanne and her whole crew (Alex, Charlene and Sonia) did an incredible job at my mountain wedding on Mt. Lemmon in Tucson, AZ. From the beginning, communication and planning with Roxanne was easy and fun. When it came to the big day, everything was even better than I could have imagined. So many of our friends that attended said it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding. Everyone was talking about it the day after! The dishes were not only beautiful, they were absolutely delicious as well. The team also endured with us through extremely cold temperatures, blistering wind, rain and an episode of hail. I will forever be grateful for Roxanne and her crew at Stillwater Catering for helping make my wedding an incredible night to remember. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

I met with Roxanne to just discuss potentially working together, and I knew immediately that she was the caterer for our wedding vow renewal ceremony and didn't want look any further. I shared my vision of what I was wanting the event to look like with her and she took the idea and made it into a reality. Roxanne's creativity, combined with her culinary skills, made for an incredible event. I greatly appreciated her attention to the quality of the food we chose, the diverse dietary restrictions of our guests, details of the food presentation, and the friendliness of her staff with our guests. I hired Roxanne for a post funeral luncheon & she did not disappoint. She is very professional, has years of experience, asked me to tell her about the person who passed away, listened with true interest, & helped me choose a menu the dearly departed would smile upon with 100% approval. The menu was unique, presented beautifully, & tasted fabulous. Friends & family were thrilled & informed me it was exactly what our loved one would have wanted.
