I bought my first telescope online from the manufacturer after religiously researching online forums. I called the store to see if they could help me assemble it and was ecstatic to hear that not only they would, but that it wouldn't cost me a thing. I brought it in and watched as they assembled it for me and showed me how to operate it properly and answered all my newbie questions. This place is awesome if your looking to get into this hobby and you will find nothing but awesome support here. I'm hoping that now COVID-19 is slowing down that they'll start their Friday night viewings again where we gather with our scopes to view the night sky.

We recently purchased a telescope (Celestron - NexStar 6SE Telescope) from Amazon for the learning and enjoyment of our grandchildren. It became immediately obvious that we needed a different or better eyepiece. Fortunately, I discovered #STARIZONAUSA. We live in Dallas, TX and needed a good eyepiece before leaving on vacation. Steven answered the phone when I called and provided TREMENDOUS customer care. He counseled me and recommended a specific eyepiece. I nearly made a major mistake and purchased an eyepiece kit from Amazon and discovered it would have been a huge disappointment. During our conversation, Steven learned we had grandchildren and asked about them. He overnighted the eyepiece as requested.What did I find in the box? Steven went above and beyond and sent some stuff for our grandchildren. EXCELLENT! FANTASTIC! Going forward the Shafer's will only purchase our equipment and supplies from #STARIZONAUSA. Starizona is an excellent company with friendly, professional and extremely knowledgeable personnel. I'm a very green begining astronomy enthusiast and the technical knowledge required for this hobby can be very intimidating. Suffice it to say Dean Koenig is the real deal who is very personable and inspires trust and confidence. If you're an astronomer of any level, you owe it to yourself to stop by Starizona and meet Dean and his staff.

Went to visit Starizona since i was in Tucson attending a wedding. Everyone in the store was super helpful and explained everything with patience, enthusiasm and with love for astronomy. Since i was in the area for a short time only, was thankful that they allowed me to purchase Hyperstar which was being built for another customer.Ended purchasing a ZWO mini guidescope, ZWO ASI 294 MC Pro, L Enhance filter in addition to Hyperstar for Edge HD 8" Definitely a recommended place to visit. Incredible to see their enthusiasm and love for the hobby and do the best for their customers

Is it possible to give SIX STARS for an incredibly satisfying and productive experience? I live in Phoenix, own a Celestron NexStar 6SE, and will only be making my telescope and astronomically-related purchases from Starizona going forward. Why? Because when you find a group of people that combine expertise with a true love for the same hobby as you; when you find people who are honest, forthright, and dedicated to providing service and care based on knowledge, experience, and a focus on encouragement and learning, you have something special. This place is special. Ask for Dean, he owns the place, Or his son. Really, you could just walk in and start talking to any person there. Everyone who works there knows their stuff and presents kindness and patience as one of their best attributes. Thank you Starizona and I'm glad I met you!

Very informative one of the only places in the state/sw United States that specializes In Astrophotography, has stuff in stock and knowledgeable sales people.

Drove a while to check this place out. Nice little store but with very limited inventory, likely due to the pandemic. I had questions about scopes with fine focusing capability. One gentleman was very kind and welcoming but another came along and killed the vibe by seeming annoyed and being oddly confrontational. Sadly I think I can get better service with a couple different online optics sites.

I am a LONG time customer of Starizona. They are the best in product knowledge and support. The personnel are great and their own products are cutting edge.
