I always enjoy the variety of food and hand made goods and crafts. A must visit for guests and visitors to the Tucson valley.

This Sunday morning for the first time in a few months, I went to Saint Phillips Plaza in search of getting some very specific things. I was definitely looking for strawberries since I pick up a flat when I can there in the past. No luck today. I ended up getting a whole bunch of other things that delighted the eyes. I purchased some really cute pottery that had saguaro's on it and I got some cheesecake and some Alaska Kodiak caught fish that my husband will have for dinner sometime this week. I absolutely enjoyed the live music which they typically have at the farmers market here but just missed some of what I was expecting. There wasn't very much food available and that's probably because Saint Phillips has the REN coffee and also açai bowl place. With it being winter or maybe it's a slow time for the market. We did chat with our familiar mushroom vendor and several of the arts and craft vendors. Overall, it was a fun walk and a lot less crowded than it normally would be. There are restrooms available and as we came at 9:30, some vendors were still setting up.

Fun spot to walk around and shop lots of local craftsmen and artist. Close to a few nice restaurants and coffee shops. Did a lot of Christmas shopping there. Don't miss Jeff's Bloody Mary mix. It's top shelf and spicy. Open weekends 10-3.

We are in the process of moving back to Tucson after many years away. I had never gone to the St. Philip's Plaza Saturday Market in my previous residences, so we decided to check it out on a recent weekend when we were back in town finding a place to live.I am surprised to read some negative reviews for the market: there were a number of interesting vendors there. It is true that most were not food related: definitely more arts, crafts, supplements, etc. But still lots of fun shopping to do in an adorable venue. We talked to lots of nice folks. Someone else mentioned in a one star review "no coffee". I assume this means there is no longer a coffee vendor in the market (we didn't see one) but the market takes place in the same plaza where Ren Coffee is located and their coffee is amazing! We grabbed a cup from there prior to walking around the market. All in all a lovely experience: I'd be tempted to go a little later in the day next time so I could grab a margarita at Reforma after our shopping experience concludes.

Over the past three years I've been coming to St Philip's Plaza Farmer's Market because of Planet of the Crepes. Over time, I've seen the ebbs and flows of this market. Sometimes, it is flowing with so many vendors that the the entire plaza was blanketed with them and as of recently its been sparse relative to other years. There's assortment of stands here from baked goods, crafts, art, and produce. This place is another stop along my Sunday morning run.The beautiful plaza keeps me coming back along with the famously deliciously Planet of the Crepes. Check it out!

This is not a farmers market, it's a crafts market now. The woman running it, Cindy Williams is rather rude and unprofessional. I witnessed her being completely nasty to a vendor, one of the people keeping her in business. Hardly any vendors are there now compared to before and there are no farmers. They should change their name altogether. Don't waste your time here.

VENDORS NOT WELCOME!! - This market may be fun for customers, but NOT vendors. Don't bother doing business with a market manager that treats their vendors with such disrespect whilst on a power trip.
