Sports Park Tucson

Started a sand volleyball league here last week and so far so good. Plenty of parking, cost to get in is $2 per person, and concessions are exactly what you'd assume they'd be.

If I could I would give this place negative stars. Went to a softball tournament here. Had to pay dues just to play in the tournament then the county collects $4 a person just to get in. It's a frikin 14 yr old tournament and your charging $4 just to get it on top of the team paying to play!!! Website says admission is $2. Also won't let you bring in your lunch or drinks besides water. They want you to buy from the overpriced snack bar. Sorry but a tax payer funded park shouldn't be telling me what I can and cannot bring in. The outfield grass is in mediocre conditin. My daughters team will not be coming back here.

The umpire staff is terrible the park is in a good location the county needs to do more maintenance of the grounds and overall upkeep it's unfortunately the only adult recreation park in the area

Lisa at the front gate will not allow children with medical needs to bring in food that meets their dietary needs. I was told to just make them eat chips because they sell them and there is there isn't any gluten in those. 3 softball games with little time in between and the staff is unhelpful and not understanding of medical conditions .They have no issue serving alcohol all day to the adults but refuse to let a 13 year old needed nutrition. Unacceptable.

This park is gorgeous, the county takes great care of it. The concessions staff are fabulous and always cheerful. Every time I come here I have a wonderful time.
