The old man of the shop has zero integrity. Prices are half azz marked and he changes the price on you. It was a time with my girls and I wanted the item so paid for it. But his attitude is over the top. Luckily for the young man that works there was the reason I still purchased the item. To the lady that works there your glares are laughable. Stay blessed

The service of the tall young man with glasses was the only decent aspect of the experience. My dad had found a ring in the vintage section of the store where we found a few rings priced as low as $50, $70, etc. The prices are supposedly written on and then painted over with clear nail polish. But of course the one my dad truly admired and wanted to buy for me had a barely visible price written on it. Now they have little white tags on some things so it's curious why they don't have those on all of them to avoid the dilemma we had. After looking thoroughly at the ring before trying it on, my dad and I had seen the price and it looked pretty clearly to be $39. And it made sense because comparing the ring with the $50 ring it was clearly not quite as nice so the $39 made sense. Now I try on the ring and the price comes off in my finger so of course they have to inquire about what the price of the ring is. We spent a decent amount of time looking around at everything and during the time had several interactions with the three individuals that were representing the store. The young man I mentioned, an older man that was shorter and bald I believe, and then a brunette woman with nice complexion (hid the ugliness within). So we get to the register and get ring up and the young man has to ask the older man about the price of the ring. The man claims $139. Mins you there's mirrors all over as this is a jewelry store and it was very obvious when the woman had begun glaring at my dad. Why? I'm not sure because that was prior to my dad asking if he was certain because of the others rings we'd found. It did not make sense for the ring to be so much. He still bought it because he'd liked it for me but the audacity of the woman's glare from then on out and the older man gouging the price on us... was appalling. The negative reviews of this store are realistic and most like the individuals sharing similar reviews as this one had to deal with similar issues and it's very disappointing to have spent the time and shared the kind interactions we had leading up to the point where it all turned. And when I say nice interactions it was due to our kindness that made the interactions pleasant. Nothing stood out about them in terms of customer service and professionalism. Such a beautiful store. Oh and also, because this ring is vintage I KNOW the money from the purchase is NOT going to the artist whom created it. No reason for that little man to do that.

I was very disappointed with this shop. They have very beautiful pieces, which led me to buy a bracelet and matching rings. The first day I wore the bracelet, it broke. I asked them if they could issue me a refund or at least give me the same bracelet back and they said no because they "didn't know how I was wearing it." I'm not sure how else somewhere would wear a bracelet? She then told me to buy a new one which is illogical since the first one broke the first day. Why would I buy another one for it to break as well? Seems like they are cheaply made and the owners are not willing to comply with customer complaints. Never buying here again, spend your money else where.

I love this place! They have lots of good quality pieces. Lots of turquoise and silver, but that's not all they have. The staff are always friendly and willing to help. I've bought several great pieces and I've had them fix jewelry for me a couple of times and they do a great job

Apparently, this establishment is affiliated with the Trading Post at Tucson Mall (according to an employee at the mall location). We purchased a Jon Stuart Anderson piece from the La Encantada location. After visiting the location at the mall, we were surprised to see prices on the same pieces sometimes $100 off from the other location... and, no, these were not different sized items (Jon crafts baby, mama, and papa sized pieces... these were same-sized pieces). The particular rattlesnake we purchased from La Encantada was different in price among locations, as was the roadrunner- we spent more on our rattlesnake at La Encantada than we would at the Tucson Mall, but would save on the roadrunner from La Encantada when compared to the Tucson Mall. Though I appreciate their selection at both locations, price inconsistency (including markup on some items in the collection) left a bad taste in my mouth. I might recommend looking elsewhere. I will update this review with actual photos and price comparisons in the future, and will gladly amend my rating accordingly... especially if the inconsistencies are corrected. As an aside, we have always been treated with courtesy at both locations.

You can try everything on, even pierced earrings. If you are looking for a high quality, AUTHENTIC piece of Navajo, Hopi or Zuni jewelry, and are in the Catalina Foothills, shop here. You won't be disappointed. I stop in every time I'm in Tucson. Lovely,

I was able to find exactly what I was looking for at this lovely store. I've visited and purchased there in person but this time it was totally an on-line transaction. John and Linda were incredibly helpful and delivered the perfect pendant and necklace in less than a week. The pieces I received are unique and I doubt I would have found what I was looking for anywhere else!
