Wr are in love with the furniture and accessories available in their store but more so with their design services. The designer is a good listener and has amazing ideas to help you achieve your look! The best part is if you have a difficult area in your house they will help design something following the Southwest inspiration to make it amazing. For example we had a XL small but not very deep accent area behind our couch and couldn't figure out what to do with it (didn't want to feature a vase with botanicals)-they designed a fabulous copper accented wooden cabinet to slide right in. Looks like it came with the house! Also have purchased a copper tabletop and custom accent desk for my husband's office. 5 stars!

Beautiful local store with beautiful furniture. They have a great selection of different furniture designs. I really liked the store it is very unique! I was looking for a gift for a friend and spoke with Kiki, she was awesome and very knowledgeable about everything in the store it was a pleasure!! So if you're looking for furniture or just an awesome gift go and find kiki she's awesome!!

I wanted a custom made wall mirror for my home and Southwest Furniture and Design made it happen above all my expectations. I found the perfect sales person to help me with the dimensions, color and description of the frame. Christine was awesome and so helpful, this young lady went way out of her way to make sure the mirror fit the decor of the room and to make sure it would arrive in time for Christmas. I highly recommend Southwest furniture and design for your home especially custom made.

BUYERS BEWARE!! My experience with Southwest Furniture and Design has been a total NIGHTMARE!! It took almost THREE years to receive my furniture here in Oregon. In addition, the STRUCTURE of the furniture was faulty and very poor. My kitchen table has a crooked back leg due to poor construction. I paid almost $4000 in Full over 2 years ago and this is what I got: [ see photographs under profile pictures][ hit add profile pics] ...Instead of making things right, she claims I am out to get more than I paid for! All I want is the order I placed!! She sent one cushion with the right fabric but it is too small for the chair frame her employees made for my order! She then sends me the wrong color of vinyl which doesn't match the wood on the chairs. ok, so now I'm am wondering if there is ill-will here and questionable business competence.? ? I believe I possibly paid her $490 too much and she will not release and send my Payment History Records, so that I may compare my records to hers. She said her bank would send her records of payment to me and poof, they have not arrived after asking for them for over a year. So now I am stuck with furniture I do not like; furniture that has no structural integrity; and a feeling that I have been ripped off.Please see recommended photos [hit add profile pics]So now the state of affairs is that she doesn't want me to contact her [see her letter]:Carrie to Ana on March 3, 2016:NO INVOICE OR PAYMENT HISTORY WAS IN THE BOX! My custom-ordered bed head board and frame (with the Saguaro rib accents) was delivered this week and now I love this place even more! The bed turned out exactly how we envisioned and requested it to be. I'm so pleased! As I mentioned in my first review, this place does custom furniture that is designed and built by Tucson tradespeople. As a locally owned business, they take pride in their work and they provide the best customer service. I highly recommend this place!

I would give them less than 1 star if it was possible! Don't enlist this company to custom design any furniture for you. They have no integrity in their business practices and their approach to designing functional and safe furniture is remedial at best. I enlisted this company to build stools and a frame for an eight foot Quartz top, weighing over 400 pounds. I gave them a $2,500 deposit. The designer(s) that worked with me demonstrated no engineering skills and designed a frame that had no chance of safely and effectively supporting the top. I had an engineer review the design and scientifically conclude that inadequate material was/would be used and the frame design would not support the weight. At this point I lost complete confidence in this company and cancelled the order. I offered to pay the FULL price of the frame even though I had no intentions of taking delivery of the frame. I only asked that they return the remaining balance of my deposit because I was not going to have them build the stools. They refused to return any money, stating they had spent numerous hours of design time although I only saw some basic illustrative drawings. I had not approved any chair designs. Again, I was forfeiting part of the chair deposit because I was willing to pay the full cost of the table frame that I signed off on before I had an engineer review it. (I'm not sure if they ever even built the table frame.)In summary:- I honored my obligation to pay the full price of the table frame because I signed off on the design. Even though the design was structurally flawed. -I fully expected a refund of the remaining monies advanced given I had not approved a stool design, hence the construction had not commenced. -I politely wrote the owners and they never phoned me, rather they wrote back that they would not refund any money. -This company unethically kept all of $2,500 deposit.I hope this review is helpful to anyone considering doing business with this company. In my opinion the owners are unethical and indifferent to the quality of their work. They are fortunate that I had an engineer review the design. Their design would have certainly failed, caused property damage and possibly caused injuries.

We picked up our new, custom made chairs yesterday and they are great! They are well made and high quality. In addition to looking good, they are very comfortable. The chairs were done a week earlier than promised which was a nice surprise . We were assisted in our purchase by Kiki. She is very knowledgeable about the different products and customization options. And she was really easy and fun to work with. I recommend this store for custom made southwestern furniture. The prices are reasonable for what you are getting, the selection is great and the overall experience is quite pleasant.

We had some chairs designed for our dining room. Excellent quality and they look great. And delivered on-time. Kiki was very good to work with and the whole transaction was seamless. If you want custom southwest furniture, this is the place.

SWF&D is a complete nightmare!! Ana Leyva was not honest or ethical with me. After paying her thousands of dollars for a large furniture order, she delivered it more than a year later. The stress involved with doing business with her was not worth it at all!! I invited all of my friends over for a party and we burned it all!!!! I am serious, every last stick of it and I really do feel much better!!
