So latest Lloyd update. He has a ton of energy and my older cats find him annoying. So we adopted a kitten about a year ago so Lloyd now has a partner in crime. I no longer have bath scrubbies, matching socks , or anything Lloyd deems his toy... I wake up at 4:30 for work and on my off days Lloyd assumes he gets fed at 4:30 so he screams till I relent and feed him. He loves being held and will lay in my arms for hours...Lloyd's foster told me it will take a special person to care for him because he needs tons of attention. He is exactly the perfect cat for us and I am pretty sure he feels the same way.

I placed an application for Three different kittens and heard the next day that my app had been reviewed. The foster Mom called and we made a date to meet the next day at her place to meet the kittens. We did and they were fabulous. We however met an older cat and he was the sweetest guy you could ever meet. Lots of talk about ourselves and about animals in general. We will pick him up on the 4th and couldn't be happier. The rescue program is wonderful and the couple we adopted from are as well. They have fostered over 100 cats amazing but the love and care they provide is crucial to the welfare of their charges.

All shelters have all these animals that need adopting, but make it SO difficult for anyone to adopt. Well, guess what...for the cat you would not allow us to adopt, we found one on craigslist and we named him Nuttall and is spoiled and loved by us. Nuttall actually sleeps on my chest every night. Our new puppy, named Juniper (Australian Cattle Dog) was found on AdoptAPet. Never will I go to a shelter again, because they treated me like a common ciriminal. Well, this "rescue" specifically. Our other dog was found in a field in CA we homed in 2018. Her name is Corona. I hear about all these horror stories of animals being euthanized (lets be real, KILLED) because they have been at the shelter too long and have not been adopted. It happens....OH and after sending me a text they only meet Saturdays, they suddenly declined my adoption to Madmartigan and they IGNORED EVERY response I sent after. THANKS FOR NOTHING!!!!!!

I would 100% recommend this rescue. It is a foster based rescue. The cats are always vaccinated spayed neutered. I have adopted personally three kittens from this place. I haven't had nothing but great experience. From the time I met the kittens to the time it came to adopting. They save a lot of kittens from being put down and they are given a home at these fosters. And these fosters work well together To make sure they help each other and give these kittens and cats a good home. I never knew I would be a kitten mom until I adopted my first two which were sisters. And then I had to have one more to even it out. They are really superb and amazing and they take really good care of these kittens so I know that they are well loved. And my kittens have adapted well to the new home I brought them in. It was the best choice I could've ever had made.

This is a wonderful foster based cat rescue. the people who run it and the fosters are kind, caring, honest and knowledgable. We adopted our lovely (then teenage boy) from them two years ago this month. it was one of the best decisions we ever made. I highly recommend SACR!
