After just one performance by the Something Something Theater, I'm completely hooked. They produce the kind of thought-provoking, moving pieces that I haven't seen elsewhere in Tucson. Everything is thoughtfully put together to pull you into the production.I just visited the last production of Dov and Ali, a beautiful story of people from different backgrounds, faiths, and ages who are struggling with reality and their true self. There are only 4 actors in this play, so each one really has to carry a strong presence, and they did. By the end, there wasn't a dry eye in the house. Really beautifully done.Their next performance is Taming of The Shrew (an adaptation) which I can't wait to see.

Sadly this excellent small theater group doesn't have much of a venue; they deserve better. Although the chairs are better than most. Given the space, the acting, directing, set design and lighting are really good. The play we just saw, How the World Began," is challenging because it stays so focused on topic. Bravo!

It is a drop dead gorgeous old building. It was fun too cruise around inside and see the architectural features as well as the old furnishings. It is quite a beautiful theater that offers an intimate View of the play. The play I saw was amazing. It was well-acted and well worth the price. I will continue to attend play here.I highly recommend that you attend the play and see this beautiful building.

Something Something is my favorite small theatre company in Tucson -- which is really saying a lot since we're lucky enough to have so many. I think this is their third year. I've had season tickets the last two years because I don't want to miss any of their plays. And I've enjoyed every one of them, they are just that good. The other thing I really like about Something Something is that over 50% of their plays have been written by women.

The taste of this company's offerings and the out-sized quality of the productions are a gift to Tucson's thinking theatre-goers, and a joy to anyone looking for a good, reasonably-priced entertainment option. It's an intimate evening in a human-scale space with actors, playwrights and ideas that will hang in a patron's mind long after the evening ends.
