Giving the other guys a run for their money. I believe Saturday was their second day open. Located at the ACE on Houghton. Not sure if they will remain there, findem if you can.First of all, the thing to try is the mash potato balls (Poutine Style). If you are a pervert like me and can't imagine what Poutine Style is...its soaked in brown gravy and covered with cheese. This tasted awesome. You won't see it on the web menu.Another low cost item that I loved is the pork rinds. I could not decide on salt&vinegar or spicy, so I got them both. These cracklins were like warm velvet in my mouth with the right amount of pucker or burn.I was with a group of friends and we all loved this. Potato balls and chicharons were enough to fill me up, but I sampled my buddies' food. This stuff is smokey!!. I like my BBQ saucy, luckily they give cups of sauce. As advertised, the hot wings are smoked and then fried before being served. The ribs are dry rubbed and awesome hard to stop eating them. My buddies also got a pork sandwich, but were not impressed as much as the other stuff. The flavor to cost ratio is high with this one.Quick summary: Nice service, good prices, fast and FN delicious.I would prefer this food over Mr/Brush, the other popular BBQ places in Tucson. See them at http://smokinhotbarbeque.com/ or facebook http://www.facebook.com/Smokinhotq.

Tried these guys at a recent Foodtruck Roundup (near my vanpool dropoff) and was very impressed. Had an Italian Beef and a side of Pouitine. The Italian Beef was incredible. A substantial portion of it ended up on my shirt which is a good sign of the right ingredients. The Poutine was perfect (if a little pricey for the portion - come on guys! Potatoes, gravy and cheese curds are cheap! Load it on!) I am definitely impressed.

The best wings of my life...Smokey, just the right amount of heat and sauce. This is a food truck that is in various places around Tucson. You can follow them on Facebook.

Just tried Smokin' last week at the Springfest festival and we loved it! We had a sliced pork burrito and I'm not even sure about everything that was in it but it was big and delicious. We had a side of sweet potato tots to go with it and they were tiny - so cute - but good. We'll be keeping an eye out for this truck!

I'm convinced the best barbeque in Tucson is from food trucks. Just like Bobby Dean's barbeque, this place is great!. I have yet to find a barbeque resturant that can hold a candle to these two. That being said, I can move on to the review. I have never tasted Italian beef as good as this anywhere!. I have had the pleasure twice now and both times I have been amazed at how the smoke flavor has permiated the meat giving it complete depth in smokey taste. Gotta visit the website to find out where they will set up next.

Really good! I ordered the chicken wings and fried pickles at the Food Truck Roundup and got my husband a side of the mashed potato poutin to go with his Cuban sandwich from Jamie's Bitchin Kitchen. He loved his potato poutin! I thought the wings were great, with a great smoke flavor in the background. The sauce was super spicy so I had the sweaty face but it tasted o good I didn't care. The fried pickles were ok, but I have had better (previously living in the Southeast Has afforded me the opportunity to have had many a fried pickle). Overall I think it was very good barbecue for a city that is not known for that cuisine.

Pulled pork sandwich to go with slaw was okay - but as a southern bbq sandwich snob, make the slaw SLAW. Don't shred cabbage and call it slaw. The pork itself was good, but the bottom part of my bun was so drenched in vinegar when I got it home it was inedible. At $8 for a sandwich, I want my entire bun. The tots are oddly teeny and sweet. The truck competition is so fierce that I might pass these guys up at the next round-up.

Awesome wings, among the best I've ever had. Fried mashed potato balls are terrific but the sauce is a bit too salty. Very nice people run this truck. Overall: YUM!!!

I saw a few reviews of this place pop up and I was intrigued. I found their menu online and I was a stalker. I finally got to sample some of the food last night and I am a fan! By chance as we were driving downtown last night, we passed the truck had just enough time to grab a bite before our play. The Man did not hesitate to order the wings, as he feels about wings the way I feel about... well, all food I guess. I got a couple gigantic meatballs. And we split some pork rinds. Yes, they make their own and yes, it is pig skin, and yes, it is awesome. The wings were very, very complex, smokey with a great, tangy sauce. The meatballs were so, so good. My only complaint is that they weren't very hot (temperature-wise) however, they had a little spicy kick to them which was a nice surprise. So, I didn't get to the barbecue this time, but I will continue to stalk this truck until I get to try everything on the menu!

I am from North Carolina and these folks are the only people I have encountered in Tucson that can pull off an authentic Carolina style BBQ sandwich, it was awesome it tasted like I was home. Find them, eat their BBQ, and you will be glad you did.
