In the wash. You can walk in the wash but it feels like walking on sand at the beach.

This is a huge dog park that is designed over several levels with lots of shady areas and a couple of double gate entrances. There's no small or shy dog area--just one large space. Your and your dog's experience will vary depending on the dogs and people there when you visit. But, don't let that deter you from going, because there are lots of trails next to the dog park that you can walk (on leash) with grass and bushes, shrubs, and other great stuff to keep your four-legged friends and you happy. There is plenty of parking and other facilities. Signs posted on the dog park gate say that it is closed from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm for maintenance, but we were there at that time and it was open. It is well maintained with lots of pooper scoopers and trash cans placed around the park.

Tootsie's life has been forever changed since visiting the Smiling Dog Ranch Dog Park. It is so nice!!!!!! Cool concrete tunnels for pups to run through. Plenty of chairs for the humans. Friendly humans hanging out with their pups. A ton of space to roam and a lot of gorgeous shade trees. Buckets and water spouts for dogs to stay hydrated. Poo shovels and poo bags a plenty. Tennis balls and rope toys laying around, seriously pup heaven.

Okay I've been taking my pup here for a month and we absolutely love it. Our dog is shy, she's a rescue and doesn't really trust other dogs or people because of her past. In just the short month we've been going here she's opened up so much and even started to play with other dogs. All the owners we've encountered are so kind and friendly. Also all the owners remember your dogs names. People monitor their dogs to make sure no one acts up. All dogs of all sizes can interact. There's tennis balls, benches, water, trash and pooper scoopers. There's decent parking, but it can be sparse on days of baseball games. If you're looking for a good dog park to start out this one is great and I've been recommending it to everyone. It's nice because the dogs get play time and you get to meet new people all the time.

I am always looking for new places while traveling with my dog. I discovered the Smiling Dog Ranch from the app "BringFido". It is by the the most beautiful dog parks in Tucson. Located on the North side of the city, it has a beautiful view, trails to wonder and a 10 mile bike trail you can follow surrounding the area. It has become my favorite spot in the early mornings.

This dog park is a great yard for my dog to roam around. It is fairly large and entirely dirt, which doesn't bode well for keeping her clean, but nonetheless she enjoys the space. There is a lot of trees/shade and plenty of lizards to chase! There is a water station that includes a hose, which is helpful to at least wash off dirty paws.

What a great place! Easy parking. It is quite large & there are a few different areas for the dogs to run around. Mostly dirt. Cement tunnels for them to run through or on. There are chairs for the owners & trees for shade. The best part (if you're a baseball parent) is it's next to a baseball diamond & you can watch the kids play while the dogs runs around.

This dog park is great! We stumbled upon it while walking our dog at the river trail. It's nice and shady, and has levels and tubes for the dogs to run around through. There's water and a scooper so you don't have to waste plastic bags. It feels like you're in nature and is a lot nicer to hang around at than the Reid dog park. My dog had a great time running around here with a group of other shepherds. Definitely recommend if you're in the area.

Awesome spot for the dogs and easy access to the Rilito river when it has water. Large dog park with multiple culverts for dogs to run through and over. It's one of the best in the city!!!
