Smashburger

Decided to get a burger fix today. Atmosphere was not inviting and kind of dark inside. There was no music or anything and 3 people eating. The gal at the register was not welcoming and shoved a menu at me, since I had trouble deciding. I ordered the single avocado bacon and regular sweet potato fries and an iced tea. She gave me my cup to go get my drink. Ummm... they did not have any tea. Why not tell me you don't have tea. It's on the menu.Burger and fries arrived quickly. Burger was dripping in grease. Sweet potato fries were over cooked. I actually think they had been cooked already and dropped back into the fryer to heat them up.$20 with a $1 tip (hoping for good karma). Crazy expensive for what I had. Not recommended.

I don't get how this place is still in business. This is the first and last time I'll ever eat at Smashburger. My boyfriend and I ordered pickup and got there within 15 minutes. Two burgers, chicken tenders, fries and onion rings. Our food was lukewarm at best when we arrived. Got it home and our chicken tenders were COVERED in a gritty black substance like you get at the bottom of a dirty fryer. The container had almost an ounce of PURE OIL at the bottom. They were completely inedible. Also both burgers were SOAKING wet (not from sauce, from steam I guess????) and mine was made incorrectly - missing toppings I ordered. The ranch and blue cheese cups were also only half full... How did THIS cost $50?! We tried to reach out to customer service and no one answered the corporate number. You can't submit a support ticket online without a store number ... which we couldn't find ANYWHERE online or on the receipt we received. The "help" page on the app leads to a 404. It's almost like they know the food is trash and don't want to hear about it. Absolutely so frustrating - unacceptable food and unacceptable customer service.

Great burgers and fries. Gluten fee options. Ordered takeout once and delivery once. Didn't get the order correct either time.

Wanted to try a different burger from the usual fare in the Oro Valley area. Located in the stereotypical suburban shopping center. A bit tucked away. Wasn't too busy during the early lunch hour. Only one cashier up front. We had the bacon brisket burger, signature smash burger, and Swiss mushroom truffle burger. All tasted fine. Will certainly try other burgers in the future.

We primarily chose the restaurant for the #GlutenFree option and bc I had a massive craving for their brussel sprouts (which my friend had never tried).NOTE: although you cam alter and specify many things in the app...You cannot add Anaheim Peppers to a burger through the SB App, although you CAN do this through #Doordash one. Weird. Brussel Sprouts were on point again, but order TWO for two people, the portion was small for sharing (although we both like them very much).Biggest #disappointment was the VERY COLD gluten-free bun...it made the whole burger cold (which also changes the flavor profile) and really needs to be toasted. Waste of a perfect burger not to do that. However, I do not believe there is any way THROUGH THE #SMASHBURGER APP to ask for a bun to be toasted.2nd disappointment was no condiments for the fries...based on the receipt, I think they got confused with the request for "no condiments" on the Brussel Sprouts. Wouldn't bother doing that again -- let them include a condiment I'm going to throw out, so that I can get it for the one that I want. SMASHFRIES were good, texture perfect, don't know if I really need rosemary with my food, but it wasn't overpowering. Wouldn't mind more garlic flavor.I'm a little disenchanted with ordering from them online, although I love the look of the app, but the way it operates caused great aggravation when it "lost" our order and had to duplicate the whole thing again. ALMOST gave up. However, I look forward to trying more things in person, when next I get a chance!

This place was fine. Nothing horrible, nothing amazing. Had the Brussels sprouts and fries, both fine. I got their classic burger single and it was good. Husband had a burger with fried onions and bbq I think. Interior was kind of weirdly quiet, no music or anything playing. We sat outside. It was a perfect evening to do so. Service was fine but food seemed a bit pricey, for what you get. Overall, it was fine, but not anything super memorable.

Details below but first, the shake...I opted for the Oreo but they also offer vegan vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, peanut butter, and tangerine. They're all made with Eclipse dairy-ice cream. Which would you choose?! The Oreo was well blended with small inclusions of the cookie. The non-dairy ice cream was on par with many others that I've because it was a little more icy than creamy. The shake could have spun a little longer so the heat could melt away more of the icy texture.Search online using the keywords "Smashburger free shake" to find the current promotion. Then upload your recipet and select a method to receive a rebate.

Burgers contained extremely fresh condiments, meat was perfectly cooked and the fries were crisp. Plan on placing this spot on my regular rotation of lunch or dinner experiences.

Good food great service. Don't see why the negative comments but I'll be back. If you gave them a bad review I'd recommend you give them a second chance. Good!

Absolutely disgusting. The first sign that it was going to be terrible was when I walked in and all the employees looked like they hated their jobs. That should have been the cue to leave and go somewhere else (anywhere else), but my optimism unfortunately won out.The woman who took my order glared at me the entire time, which is exactly what you want in a customer-facing role. To her credit, she did enter the order correctly, but the kitchen still managed to screw it up (asked for no ketchup and got ketchup anyway). It doesn't matter, though---ketchup or no ketchup, the food would have been terrible either way.The "double classic smash burger" burger was dripping in grease, undercooked, not caramelized at all, and placed on a stale bun with two slices of unmelted American cheese. The toppings were "fine"... two small slices of tomato, one tiny piece of lettuce, and a couple pickles.The regular french fries were also dripping in oil (like they hadn't been drained at all), unsalted, and not worth eating. For $3.79, the portion size was small, but that was fine, because they weren't any good and I wouldn't have wanted more anyway. How do you mess up frozen french fries? Go to Smashburger and find out.Total price was $14.97 for a burger and fries (no drink). What a waste of money and calories.
