If I could give Sit! Stay! Play! 10+ stars I would! This is truly the most amazing place to take your dogs. Not only are they well cared for and safe but they also receive engaging training and playtime. I have two English Setters (Garwood and Brophy), that are my spoiled children. I do not trust just anywhere with their care and well-being and I truly was so happy with all the love and care they received from Sit! Stay! Play! when we lived in Tucson. They do have an interview process, but that's good! I wouldn't want to take my dogs somewhere that doesn't evaluate the temperament and require up-to-date vaccines and making sure the dogs are healthy. Because of the diligence around health that Sit! Stay! Play! requires, a cancerous tumor was found on my older dog. Had it not been for me going to the vet for the tests he needed to come to Sit! Stay! Play!, I would not have found the lump. To say I'm grateful doesn't quite sum it up enough. They also do fun events for the dogs and celebrate their birthdays (with darling photos!) and other holidays. When my younger guy came home with a Mother's Day card and cookie for me, it truly made my day. When COVID hit, the team at Sit! Stay! Play! was proactive and did everything to address the health, safety, and well-being of everyone. They were truly amazing and the fact we could still work and know our dogs were safe was so appreciated.Janet, Emily and the entire team is just incredible. We moved back to CA in the Summer of 2019 and definitely miss taking our dogs to Sit! Stay! Play! Thanks for all the wonderful care of my babies.

Stop! Read! GO!! I can't say enough good things about this place. Yes, there's an interview process, your dog must be updated on all their shots, friendly & comfortable to play here. I've been taking my dog Hankerton here for months and he LOVES it. I wish I could afford to place him here every work day. Drop off time is early & easy. When I pick him up he is happy yet exhausted and is tuckered out for two days. It's great. I love that they post on FB & Insta. I love their fun events, they give you the cutest photos of your pup!! They have web cams & you can download the app to watch your doggo from work! It feels comforting to know that I can rely on such an incredible, loving, knowledgeable staff to take such good care of my dog. He's my world and they treat him like theirs.

I love SSP! My dog LOVES to go to "school". This is the only place in town to take my dog, that has long enough hours to accommodate my 12 hour shift at the hospital. I love that I can watch the doggy live cameras, to look in on my pup throughout the day. The staff is always very pleasant to interact with, and they seem like they really love the dogs! I recommend this place to all friends and family! 5 stars, hands down!

Sit,stay& Play is like family. The staff is warm & professional & loves my dog like their own. They teach manners & socialization so dogs respect rules & enjoy their time together. Mack loves "school " and is running to the truck to go. The price is very reasonable & if any issues or concerns, the staff have our pets at the highest priority. Safe, loving & fun place for your dog.

Professional, efficient, caring.Their long hours accommodate my occasional work in Phoenix, long days and early mornings. My 8 yr old pup has visited Sit, Stay, Play for over 6 yrs. 1-2 days a week. There is very low staff turnover and these folks feel like friends. They are so conscientious I never worry about the boy when he's there. I particularly admired how the Owner handled the arrival of Leptospirosis in Tucson. She was right on top of it and organized an onsite clinic for vaccinations after verifying the minimal risk. I feel lucky to have a place like this for weekly dog care.

They just raised their prices AND cut their staff hours substantially... Isn't raising the price supposed to prevent you from having to cut staff? So now people are paying more money for less supervision and doggie play time? No thanks!!

I had really high hopes for this doggie day care. So much so that I was willing to go through the extensive application process including evidence of vaccine, prior to even getting our interview. I live so close I could walk my dog to this while pushing my bike and then ride to work!!! Emily was kind enough to get approval to stay later that usual for our interview. I went in with my 30lb dog, Zelda. She is very timid as she was a rescue from PACC and did not have a good start in life. Part of the reason I was taking her was for socialization and after reading the reviews I thought this might me our place. I had another dog in Pittsburgh in which The Dog Stop was great with helping with socialization. When I explained this to Emily she stated, "We take socialized dogs and do fun things with them". She then informed me that Zelda would be put in with the bigger dogs. I explained that I've tried the bigger dogs at the dog park and she absolutely could not handle being with the bigger dogs. She is a slight 30lb dog. Emily said they can get 60 dogs in one day and she has 2lb dogs that Zelda could step on. She did not appear that she would budge or be willing to work with me on this matter. At this point I felt as if I've invested enough time in this process already and it was pretty clear that Zelda's need would not be considered, so I left. I was very disappointed.

The staff are trained in dog behavior and are careful regarding bringing a new dog into the group. I really appreciated that because Moose is quite fearful of new situations having been tied to a tree most of his first year. There's an initial meeting with the dog. After passing muster at the first meeting, the first day begins with the new dog meeting dogs one at a time. They have cameras in the various dog rooms so you can monitor your dog's interactions with other dogs. I was pleased that the second day, Moose willingly walked through the front door. The exposure to dogs and people helped Moose gain confidence. It may be a coincidence, but after attending Sit Stay Play for a few days, he stopped having nightmares.Thank you Sit Stay Play!

There is no better place for doggy day care. I could go on and on, but the bottom line is...bring your dog here and your dog AND you will benefit. I brought my last dog to Sit!Stay!Play! for 10 years, and now we're bringing our new little girl-pup. I can't imagine any other place taking such good care of my dog. The little Chihuahua mix we have now began skittish (and everything else that typically goes with Chi mixes) and now she is like a different dog, so much more social and friendly. That would not have happened without the loving and professional attention of the Sit!Stay!Play! staff. They are all trained to help your dog succeed - that is a huge plus. You do not want an unsocialized dog, no matter the size, but a tiny unsocialized dog can be a menace, and SSP has transformed her into a very good girl!I deeply appreciate the separation of small dogs from big dogs at SSP. My pup couldn't be with big dogs, she is far too small. I've seen live feeds from some other doggy daycare places and the dogs are all mixed together. My dog just wouldn't have a place there.I love that there is no prolonged barking or yapping at SSP. The staff is well-trained and from what I understand are usually involved in some other form of animal care, like vet tech training or grooming, etc. All dogs get attention at SSP. Activities for the dogs are designed to stimulate and socialize. Staff are always watching the action in case some pup needs a little redirection, returning all to calm again. Everything is designed to keep the pups comfortable, happy, and calm. That's key to a good learning environment, just like a classroom. My last dog needed extra care in his last couple of years, and everybody at SSP took care of him as if he was their own beloved dog. They still miss him as much as I do. I was especially grateful for the grooming services, like baths!! Yes! Please bathe my dog, here is my money! Everything is handled at SSP. We even boarded our new dog and she loved it. Loved it!Staff keep the place very clean, they have a UV sanitizing system, they vacuum and mop every day, along with near-instant spot-cleaning of messes. It's all for the love of dogs!

Unfortunately, my experience with this facility is not pleasant at all. I had signed my puppy up for classes in January with the trainer Susan Sparks because my puppy did not receive his one round shot of Leptospirosis he was unable to attend the first in-facility training sessions. So we had discussed training our puppy with Susan for 2 private at-home sessions and the last 2 at the facility. After paying Susan in person on our first training session and due to extreme circumstances on both ends our puppy was unable to receive his last 3 training sessions we had paid for. We had discussed receiving a refund but still haven't heard back from our puppies trainer or the facility. This was very disappointing to us since we wanted our puppy to be well socialized and trained and took a lot of time looking for a great facility just to be disappointed in the outcome and service.
