We just had another GREAT Tucson steak dinner here! Mike was our server and was simply the best. NY strip was cooked to perfection They have horseradish in two separate intensities if that's your thing Be sure to order the mud pie!Note to manager. Please consider signage saying "Users of electronics MUST wear headphones to not distract other diners." There was a clueless family whose child was watching an iPad with sound on. Rude but can be managed with assertive action. Thanks!

Big fan of Silver Saddle Steakhouse. They have the best prime rib I've encountered in four years of living in Tucson and probably some of the best prime rib I've had in my 50+ years on this planet. And I grew up on a beef farm. The vibe is hometown and I love it. The server was very attentive without being overwhelming. We didn't have to wait long on a Saturday night without reservations. It's not overly loud and there's something for everyone on the menu. Again, the best prime rib in Tucson. Go get some.

Dinner in the desert! Don't judge a book by its cover. Felt like I was in a scene of an old western. Located right off the highway. Lots of seating and decent pricing. They do have a $6.95 split plate fee but it's worth it because the portions are large enough to share. Everything was seasoned and cooked well. I loved the salad bar. Be sure to pile high as you can only go once. However the rolls are unlimited. Everyone was so welcoming and the cooks are certified on that grill! 16oz NY Strip cooked mediumBaked potato loadedSalad barWaitress: Karen she was so sweet, patient and personable. She gave great tips and gave us to-go drinks without us having to ask she is top tier.

The atmosphere here is bright and loud and nobody dresses up but the food is great and they do reservations. Good prime rib, great margaritas and excellent staff. We try to get here once a month if we can.

King's Cut Prime Rib last night X 3, medium rare - absolutely fantastic. Seriously, for Prime Rib - I believe this is as good as it gets in Tucson, and it is GOOD! (El Corral, Pinnacle Peaks "Forget-about-it"). Recommend the loaded potato & requesting 'real cheese' vice the standard cheese 'sauce'. Cowboy beans and the soft warm rolls, wonderful. Tip of the hat to Christy Q. who is in my top 5 servers ever! Always present but never there, forward thinking, polite, knows the menu - just 10-star service, thank you Christy and appreciate the hard work Silver Saddle team.

One great throw-back Tucson Steakhouse. We stumbled in because we were in the area and Yelpers said "go". Great menu. Covers all the meat, rib, chicken bases. We ordered The Queen Prime Rib and it was a perfect share, with sides and salad. Excellent service by server newbie Stetson. Ask for him. Everyone we interacted with was super-duper. Clean bathrooms thanks for that. Especially cool was the open grill.

When the salad bar and baked potato are the highlights from your steak dinner there is something wrong, we ordered 2 porterhouse steaks and I would imagine that their scale is broken because both of them were considerably undersized compared to the other people have shared, we ordered them "medium" temp and they were not medium, the outter sides were burnt and had to cut around the bones to find any signs of pink, I'd imagine the 2 gentlemen that were manning the grill went on a smoke break while cooking them, our waitress was awesome and on top of things (why we didn't complain at the restaurant) maybe the secret isn't to go around 2 pm in the afternoon on a Wednesday I'll never know as this visit has turned me off from ever returning

Positives first: You walk into the restaurant smelling a wonderful smokey barbecue aroma. The staff is friendly and obliging. You are seated with alacrity. Water comes quickly, but it is tap water, not filtered at all. They will provide lemon to kill the taste. The ribs were fall-off- the-bone tender but definitely needed the sauce and the New York Steak was cooked as requested but had no flavor. If you ask for it, steak sauce is provided. The rolls are 2 in x 3 in and one per person with one foiled pat of butter. The dinner prices are pretty high for how miserly the sides are, but lunches are under $15. Although the web advertised surf n turf, it is not on the menu. All in all, go to the Texas Roadhouse for a selection of bread, better steaks and better dessert variety.

Silver saddle Steakhouse is my all time favorite place to go for a fabulous meal. Their atmosphere is friendly and comfortable - not highfallutin! I always get the queen prime rub (rare) and it is perfect every time. The salad bar is varied and delicious.Sometimes I get the French onion soup which is very cheesy and the"best ever". The baked potato is perfectly prepared with all the toppings one might want. Today (pre "Mardi Gras" we had the decadent mud pie. Delicious! The entire dining experience was wonderful!
