Sierra Wash-N-Dry

What's not to like about a "good ole" laundromat? Yes, 8 out of 10 times it's a shady place, however I've been coming here for years to use on items that can't fit in my own washer. It's well maintained. The on- call person may seem moody but when was the last time you had to remind a person not to throw rugs into a machine not made to do so? Cost. Well the larger loads run at $5-8...a tad steep... so more is good per load that is. Be warned. There be regulars in there who tend to call washers out as theirs prior to using. Wow. Use smaller dryers. Large ones don't get as hot.

I needed to wash my quilts & i looked up Sierra Wash N Dry. The parking was ok, and the place is old and outdated with wood paneling walls, dirty floor & over-all run down neglected look.The good thing is they have plenty of washers, baskets, & coin change machines. They also have a Fluff N Fold which i haven't seen in a laundromat in 30+ years Lol. It's a good service if you need it, and i didn't inquire about it, but i know it's there. They have different size front load washers ranging from $2, $4, & $7 along with 25cents per so many minutes to dry, but $1.50 for a dryer should do the trick.Overall in a pinch it's not an upscale place in fact it's the opposite, but it gets the jib done, but seriously the place could use some TLC.

This is a busy place! It's only one of two laundromats in town.There are 15 washers and about 20 dryers. The standard washers are $2 and the slightly larger ones $2.25. Dryers are $0.25 for eight minutes and it takes about five quarters to dry a load. You must wash the last load by 7pm.It offers wifi to guests but you must ask attendant for password.There are folding tables and clothes hampers to help you move clothes from dryer back to table. There is also a metal bench by the front entrance and a few extra chairs to sit on next to the soda machine. There is also an outlet on either side of the building to charge up your phone.There is also an attendant to assist. Washing and folding services also extra.

Needed large washer and dryer for a comforter. Clean and good washer and dryer's. Reasonable price.

The place is clean, and the other customers are friendly...but the lady working here today has a chip on her shoulder. I was told I'd have to wait, and not in a kind manner, I put money into the first three machines I had loaded and they never started. I was told they timed out, and I was given 4 dollars back but not 6 for the three I loaded and it never stated. I had to pay 4.25 to get one load washed. I'll probably never come back to this establishment again.

Great experience here a cpl nights ago, pleasant atmosphere, popular, they offer ziplock bags for your quarters from the change machine, it's clean, and the attendant was very nice.

I love the way Mary takes such good care of the facilities! She is amazing! She's kind, helpful and on the ball! Once, someone was trying to take clothes out of my dryer, and Mary knew they were mine. She gently let them know and I was very impressed at how she was so attentive, while she was dashing around doing her work! Mary is awesome!Marguerite

I went into Sierra Wash N Dry This week to do my household laundry that consisted of Throw matts, Bedding, Sheets, Quilts and invest about $100.00 each trip. I used 8 Washers and 8 Dryers loading the machines in a balanced Manner with all the items I brought in. I have been doing this process with my household items since MATT KRAMER and PARTNERS owned this business. MANY YEARS. The Laundry attendant WENDY, The Owners MOTHER, yelled at me on what I was loading in one of the MANY $5.00 machines , an old Blanket, saying I could not load it and use that machine for that item ( Loaded by itself and washed just like that for 4 years!), telling me , AFTER she put her hands in the machine to feel the blanket, to move it to the $8.00 machine as that $5.00 machine was not made for that item ! I refused and washed it in the $5.00 machine where it laundered just fine and moved it to one of the EIGHT dryers I used. I returned with sleep matts to load and wash where WENDY Yelled at me from the COIN CHANGING machine to where I was entering the business at the front door barking at me about not loading any of the products I was carrying into the $5.00 machines. I advised I was NOT and I placed them in front of the $8.00 machine I was using for my Bed quilt and sheet set to cycle and I would use the machine NEXT for the Bed Matts. I Have NEVER been so rudely treated by an employee of this business in all the years I have used this laundrymat for my bedding and household items spending at LEAST $100.00 a trip and leaving the place better than I found it. I have wiped up the machines if I splashed product on them , Dry mopped behind myself if I tracked in dirt and thrown away the plastic bags I brought items into be washed. PLEASE REVIEW THE TAPES THAT SHOW my ACTiONS THIS DAY 9/5/24 at 4 PM and see how I loaded the machines and dryers. I NEVER disrespected this business EVER and could not BELEIVE WENDY and her overall attitude, demeanor and presentation with DIRECTION that made no sense. I was not washing HORSE BLANKETS or OIL RAGS, it was ALLOWABLE household items and I know how to load a machine, NOT overload the MACHINE and which ones to use !!! 2 of the 8 dryers blew tepid air when set for HOT and I had to keep checking my items for them to properly dry and moved stuff to other machines as it was set HOT and it was not !!! REVIEW THE VIDEO on this described trip at your business and see what I described to be accurate. I will be sure to pass the word on the changes at this laundrymatt and my experience there. I have lived in this area 39 years and it is a shame that an employee at this establishment would treat any customer in this manner , especially a long term customer that was a regular and spent alot in the business. Thanks for nothing !!!

Wonderful job of caring for my extra heavy bed pads. We drop off and pick up. Take your own laundry supplies as the price is really great without the extra expense. Service is the best.

Open 7Am...last loads at 7PM... drop offs... great place fully attended!!!!!! Reasonable costs to wash and dry... !!!!
